MONDAY ROLL CALLLLLLLLLLLL

Morining all, I haven't been real faithful with writing lately.

Its been spring break from college, so I have been working as much as possible.

I worked about 70 hours last week.

The weather yesterday was absolutely wonderful. I took a couple long walks. Played basketball, and football with my son and a couple kids in the neighborhood.

I walked to church yesterday.
I am going to have a good time this summer. I can walk a couple miles without getting out of breath. It sure is nice.

I actually carried on a conversation with someone while I walked. (Haven't done that in a while.)

It sure is nice to be in better shape during the summer.

I had a physical for work on last thursday. I passed it with no problems. (I did have some Ketones in my urine I have to ask the nut about.) but everything else is great. Even my BP, which was never good before.

I was putting off buying clothes because I figured I would wear shorts all summer then buy pants in the fall, but I pulled out my shorts and they are all too big too.

I had real nice shorts that didn;t fit me before that I never got the chance to wear comfortably. I think I am going to wear cut off sweats all summer. I refuse to buy clothes right now.

Anyway, I am back in my rhythm again. Work, school, work, school............ so I should start coming around here regular again. At least until this Friday when my job goes on spring break.

Then I am going out to see Mom for a couple days.

Everything is going great. God is good.

Good morning everyone in this great Land of Lincoln!! Rise and shine we are going to have more sun today and warmer. It says a chance of a rain shower but we will all do a fast prayer to God and have Him send it elsewhere today.

Well, back to work for most.  I ended up doing absolutely nothing yesterday, contrary to my post yesterday morning. For some reason I was tired and I slept most of the day  and smelled my wonderful corned beef cooking.  I do not think that there will be any left overs to try Nancy's casserole, LOL. I have every single left over planned. I had bought ingredients for two dinners. The next one I am going to put in the crock pot and see how that turns out. 

I do not have the tattle tale at work all week as her youngest is getting married next Saturday. We have a wedding next Saturday in Burr Ridge. We are going to put the new Garmin to work to get us there. Thank you Nancy for suggesting the little weighted pad for the unit. We hated the wire hanging down from the windshield on the way home from Abt. Plus we have a small car, an Aveo and there isn't much windshield space.

Hello everyone

I had a nice weekend.  I spent the whole weekend reading my Twilight books of course.  I'm on book four now. 

8 more days till my surgery!!!  I'm getting too excited.  There were a couple of times this weekend when I could have cheated but didn't.  I just put my nose in my book and kept reading.  I also went to see the movie Friday night.  I was great I loved it. 

Well it will be a beautiful day enjoy.

Hey Crystal-this week will fly by quickly. Great job...don't cheat..you'll only hurt yourself. You can do this!

Well, it is time to get moving and go back to work.  Still coughing and blowing the nose but feel better.  I found a new cold medicine over the weekend but I think it makes me hyper.  I took one before bed last night and woke up at 4 am and was wide awake! Guess who will be going to bed early tonight?

Dave, why dont you try some resale shops for some inexpensive clothes to get you through the summer.  That and WalMart have been my shopping choice as the sizes change.  A pair of slacks and a couple of pairs of shorts will take you far.

Good morning Dave and the rest of IL, I too went for a walk yesterday with the dogs and it was so nice, going again today,
Dave have you checked out the good will for some clothes  that is where I got mine or hit good sales at the stores I hated to pay too much for new clothes too,
For me today house cleaning walk in the park with the dogs and going to the Rockford support meeting tonight,
Dawn I will be bring the clothes for you tonight,

Good Monday Morning.

I wish I was able to stay home and enjoy the day, but I will be in my dungeon at work, with no windows all day. Hopefully, I get out on time this afternoon, so I can enjoy the sun.

Yesterday was a good day. My oldest daughter came up and we were able to get to that pile of junk in the driveway. Then we took a walk around the neigborhood. She left, and when DH came home we headed for Walmart. By the time we got home, the corned beef was finished and we had a good meal. And the best part, everything stayed down! I only had a small slice of the beef, since I have a habit of beef coming back on me.

Christine, I always do my corn beef in the crock pot. It works great!

Good Morning Dave and the rest of IL!

I am sick!  I have been super busy getting ready for a party we had here on Saturday for Tyler's 15th, my neice's 8th and my dad's 75th birthday and on Friday Tyler came home from school with a busted up finger, so we were off to the ER.  I figured it shouldn't take too long and I could finish the baking and whatnot when I got home.  Needless to say we got to the ER at 3:51pm and didn't see the Dr until 8:31pm!!!  Yes we sat in the waiting room for hours!!  I think that's where I picked up this bug I am battling now.  I felt okay on Saturday for the most part, but by the time bedtime came around I was feeling icky.  Woke up yesterday with a fever, sore throat and just general body aches...still here today!

I will do nothing today but rest and get my fluids in.  Tomorrow is Tyler's actual birthday and we are supposed to be meeting his dad, stepmom and new sister for dinner...we'll see how I'm feeling though.  It stinks!
