Anyone going to Chicago in June
You guys have a point and you're very sweet. I was thinking my daughter won't be here for my birthday this year because of her internship. So maybe I will go. I will take the train in (I don't drive downtown) and I won't be able to stay the night, I just can't afford to spend that extra money right now. Does it cost anything to attend???
Crystal, actually it is not downtown but out by O'Hare in Rosemont. If you took the train down then you would have to take the L back out to River Road and walk to the hotel or call a cab.
It does have a cost of $50 a person. Look at the events schedule for all that is planned.

Crystal:
There IS a ticket price of $50.00 per person for both days. BUT.......if you volunteer, you can get your ticket for nothing. If you are not into volunteering, they always have discounts available. Watch the "events" tab on this board. There are always ways to make it less expensive. You can also share a room with up to 3 others so the burden of the room is not so much.
They are having a "meet and greet" on Friday night and a Casino night and DJ on Saturday.
Also, it is in Rosemont, and maybe you could car pool.
Just some things to think about........
