Sunday Roll Call
Good morning. Well, I am like the little guy in the title line. I kept waking up last night so I did not over sleep. We are taking the train down to the Loop to go to Willow Chicago. After wards we will walk the Mag Mile up to the Garmin store and see and play with the GPS units first hand. After wards home to do laundry - uniforms.
Yesterday when we got home I was a "botanist" again and planted more annual flowers. All of my other ones are up and sprouting leaves already.
I think that I am going to talk Dave into staying home as the weather forecast changed from yesterday and it is raining cats and dogs plus the map shows another big batch of rain coming in from IA.
Yeap we stayed home and we are glad that we did. We are going to get some exercise in by walking through Sam's, Wally World, Best Buy and Office Depot. They are all in with in walking distance in the same plaza in Addison. We are going to look at GPS units at a couple of them.

Good morning.
I was up really early today with a sinus headache. (at least that's what I think it is). I'm not sure what we will do today. I would like to go to Caputo's, maybe Costco. I was also thinking of Fry's Electronics (not sure about that one).

Which Caputo's do you go to? We have one in Addison and Bloomingdale, but Addison is the larger of the two. I love Fry's Electronics. The place is huge. I bought two of my digital cameras there and got fantastic prices. They have a lot of computer components for the person that loves to put together their computer from scratch themselves. They have appliances, music etc.

I am planning to take a trip out there to Fry's one of these days too. I read their fliers and they do have some good deals.
Anyway, not much going on today.
Church this AM then going to out to lunch with a friend. She is bringing her son who is 4 so we may go to Chuckie Cheese for lunch. (I guess I will eat before I go.) Ididn't eat breakfast before the meeting so when I started to eat I didn't want to stop.
My stomach is sore today. I ate too much at the meeting yesterday. I am going to drink alot of hot tea today. Maybe I will take a tea bag to Chuckie Cheese.
Anyway, just caught the hour ahead thing, so I gotta get ready for church. I doubt my son is getting up easy. He had a friend over last night. I yelled at them at about 4 this AM for playing video games. Bratty kids.

Good Morning on this Soggy Sunday.
Christine, have fun shopping. I have no urge to go do any shopping today, going to Sams yesterday was enough.
Dave, bratty kids or not, I agree with Christine, YOU knew where they were and what they were doing. Anyway, they are only teenagers once. So let them sleep.
I just made a salsa dip to take to my dd this afternoon. Also some creole butter to top corn on the cob with. Anything that reminds me of the SW this morning will chase away the gray skies.
llse, I do not have the info we talked about at home. I will PM you with it in the morning.
Try to stay dry and warm today. There are flash flood warnings out, as well as general flood warnings and heavy rainstorm warnings. It will be a messy day!

It seems that the rain is camping out over the upper and central area of IL. Originally yesterday the forecast said we were to only get about a 1/4 inch of rain, now it is showing up to 3 inches more with wind later on. Yes the flood warnings are not good. We have "Lake Bennett" in our back yard where it always floods. The village is going to finally help us and the neighbors with putting in a drain tile.

I am staying home today as well. I over did it yesterday by going to Computer Connections and to our meet and greet. My GI Bug took more out of me than I thought it had.
Time to get back to reasonable eating as well. Tired of Gatorade but I will still have a little of that today. Scale still has me down ten pounds on the week but I know that I am still rehydrating by the way my shoes fit.
It was great meeting all of you yesterday and I hope the next one will be someplace I can get to as well. I know we have a great meeting/party room here but I am not sure what it cost to use it. During the summer the complex puts out hot dogs and chips at noon on Saturdays. That is for residaents though so if you guys could all just move in here we could have free meet and greets in the summer for lunch and swimming then in the winter for workouts, football and swimming in the heated pool.
