HAPPY FRIDAY ROLL CALL.

WOO HOO Finally Friday.

I had a good week.

I accomplished a lot. I had midterm tests all week (which I won't get back for a couple days.) I had my Basic Skills for certification test. (which I won't get results for for a couple weeks.) 
I worked all week. Walked my butt off. Had a blast screwing around in the sun yesterday. (I am a huge sun junkie.)  Gave my music thingie with the basketball and squeekie shoes.

And best of all comes tomorrow when I get to meet everyone on here and their families.

I am spending the night in a motel tonight in Elgin for a family get together. Mom is getting 5 rooms for all of us kids and all the grandkids. It will be a good time. So i will be there in Elgin early tomorrow. I may bring my mom and a couple sisters. And maybe my brother. You guys will get a kick out of seeing us. (We are identical twins, cept I'm better looking) We are what is called mirror image twins, which is even more rare then regular twins. We also look more alike then most regular identical twins. (I can't even tell us apart)  I am going to try to talk him into coming out to the meeting. I also want him to come out to work so I can screw with the people at work's minds.

Anyway I am excited to meet everyone.

Good morning Dave and the rest of IL, Yes I am up early again, thank  you Lexie, at 5:01 today Hey maybe went the time changes Sunday she will let me sleep till 6 AM,  but I wont count on it,
Well I got all my running done yesterday and to day I am about to start my  and I will be giving the girls a  something they both hate,  then do some wash and run to the dollar store, I need to get a gift bag for a baby shower I am  going to Sunday,
Yesterday it only took me 15 min, to but my contacts in, hey I am getting better,
Well that is my day in a nut shell so I better bet my butt off here and do what I need to get done, see you tomorrow

Good Morning Dave and Everyone on the Illinois Board.

Hey Dave, if you and your brother are identical twins, how we gonna know if its you or your twin tomorrow?

I am so wanting tomorrow to come. I have my plan of action all mapped out. I need (want) to stop at Sams Club, Trader Joes, and at a couple of stores at Geneva Commons. I don't get to shop there very often anymore since my daughter moved to Yorkville. So my plan starts with me leaving the house in the morning at 9 instead of 11 as I had planned to do.

Today its errands and cleaning out a couple of kitchen cabinets. I will finish some seafood soup that I brought home the other night, and then possibly go out for dinner.

Janet, I don't have a pup to wake me up, and yet I still have been getting up at 4 or so. Hopefully that will be better after the time change.

Has anyone heard from Christina yet? Is there any news from Carla yet?

TGIF!  I am SO glad it is Friday.    It has been a hard week for me at work.  Yesterday, I got to work, and discovered that Wednesday had carried into Thursday and I was in no mood to deal with customers.  My patience was gone.  I applied for and got time off by 10:30.  It was a good attitude adjustmetn day.  I enjoyed the nice weather, got some things done around home, went to the pool for exercise and caught up on some things that had been hanging over my head.  

I feel like I need a vacation but am hesitant to take one,  I am comtemplating a long weekend but trying to figure out which weekend.  

I am really looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

Hello everyone

I'm here and it's Friday!!!  Woohoo!!!  I will be happier at 5pm when it's time to go. 

Its 18 days till my surgery.  This will be the longest 18 days of my life.  Can you tell I'm just a tad bit impatient.  I have an education class to go to Monday.  Also, I checked my weight this morning and I'm down 23 pounds!!! 

I hope Carla and Christina are doing well and healing fast.  I have decided not to go tomorrow.  I really have to watch my spending because I will be out of work for 2 weeks and won't have money coming in.  Money will be very tight.

What a glorious day today.  I hope to get outside and enjoy the weather.  Today is the wake for my former student and his mother.  I know it will be packed so I am going right at 3;00.

I am so sorry that i won't be there tomorrow.  My daughter has to be somewhere at 4:00 which would not give me enough time.  I hope we can do a summer one.

Brigid and I plan on coming to the Pizza party tomorrow.  Jeff will be visiting Noah tomorrow and working, it is tax season and Jeff is a CPA.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone again.  I could use to get out and do something fun, non hospital related for sure!


I had my endoscopy yesterday at NWCH, and it all went well.  No issues to be found, Thank God!  But that doesnt explain my discomfort and pain.  Maybe it is all in my head.  SO I have decided to pretend it isnt there and see if it goes away.  They did take a biopsy to check for variouis things, but Im sure it will come back normal.  No time to worry about all that,,,,have to move on now. 

Noah is still in the hospital and the next review will be on Monday after our family meeting.  He seems to be calming down and working harder while he is there.  Lets hope it contiues at home.

Jeff and I are taking a Love and Logic parenting class, to try to learn how to parent without anger and punishment.  Rather, using love and consequences that Noah has a say in, and that we dont get sucked into his drama.  I know....Good luck, but we are going to try really hard because we need some drastic changes around here to make this all work.

I hope that Carla and Christina are feeling better today and I wish them a speedy recovery.

It is the weekend, so for everyone I wont be seeing tomorrow, have a great weekend!

Sat we are going to the meet and greet and then home to get ready for Sunday.

Sunday is the Northwest Side Irish Parade in Edison Park, which my best friend is running and I always get roped in to help alot!  I am facepainting for all the kids on Sunday, so I will be "brushing up" on my skills today and tomorrow.  I learned some new cool tricks at a facepainting class I took and cant wait to use them.  If anyone ever needs a facepainter for an occassion, let me know, I love to do it!

There will be a parade first at 11am and we get to ride on a decorated trolley and throw out goodies to all the kids along the route, lots of fun.   Then the after party is at Morettis in Edison Park for hot corned beef dinner and open bar and entertainment all for $10!  It really is a great deal!  If anyone wants to venture out, let me know and I can send you info!

I just wanted to tell you that Todd and I have studied the "Love and Logic" approach and it DOES work.  If we could be more consistent about it, I'm sure it would work even better.

If you wanted to do some facepainting at "A Day in Rock City, it is on July 25th this year and we are celebrating the town's 150th.

Good morning Dave and the rest of Illinois!

I am working today until 2 then heading home to check into working out at the school's curcuit training center with Liv.  It is $1.00 per visit and might be something we can do together.  If has to be better for her than sitting and staring at the TV or computer after school.

I am anxious to see how David is doing because I think he may have a sinus infection.  If so, I will be running him to convenient care this evening for an antibiotic.  We do not mess with sinus infections with him---he once had one turn into brain abcesses and that was NO FUN for any of us.

I am hoping to make it into Elgin tomorrow.  I think the kids are going to be working at the museum so I will head out after I drop them off there.  I still don't know if Todd will be with me.

I hope Carla and Christina are both recovering nicely and taking good care of themselves.
