Time to get up and at 'em! Another day is out there waiting. Today is a standard day with the exception of taking Fluffer (the cat who had the outdoor adventure) in for his yearly checkup, He wont like this at all! Right now he is insisting ub being held which keaves me typing in the hunt and peck 1 finger typing.

Good Morning Illinois!
The sun is shining but it still looks cold outside. I am really glad to be returning to work today. Hard to beleive but I miss seeing a lot of my "everyday buds". I also resume taking my college courses today. Not sure about that one but I am sure it will go fine. I will probably be ready to take a nap during the class.
Aleece--so sorry to hear about this tragedy. My thoughts and prayers go to you and everyone this young man has touched.

Lori, just because you were cleared to go back to work, try to take it a bit easy for the next few days. You are still healing.
Is Lucy going to make it out to Elgin this Saturday? I want to pick your brain about what you ate and such on the cruise you and Pam took,
Did everyone see Karen's post yesterday? She is going to try to come on Sat. It will really be nice to meet her as well as others that have never been.
Just a normal day for me. I will be heading to work in a few. Then home, exercise, and have dinner.Yesterday was slow, but knowing from experience, today and tomorrow won't be.
I am grateful today that we didnot get the heavy snow that they got in the Southeast and along the East Coast. I guess we can deal with the cold.

Had to make a quick run outside with Bella....it seems she thought she would start to wet my carpet....caught her and took her out. Of course now she doesn't want to wet the grass so its time for her to go back in her kennel. Will take her out and back outside in a few. Took her to the vet yesterday and got a clean bill of health. Her shots are up to date and she has an appointment to be spayed at the end of the month.
I'm hoping to make it on Saturday...looking forward to it.
Not much going on here...same old stuff...laundry...cleaning up...gym tonight...can't wait....

Today I'm going to "clean" up at work, try to get everything finalized as much as possible. I'm taking tomorrow off. I have a lot of things to do to get ready for my surgery on Thursday. My internet service is supposed to be connected today at home. I sure hope so. Otherwise, I will have no way of connecting with my lifeline. You all are such a blessing to me. I wish I could be at the meet and greet on Saturday but with surgery on Thursday I just don't see that it will be possible. Hope you all have a fab time.

Just a quick one for me as I need to get to work so that I can get out of here by 10:30 to take Liv to Madison. I am hoping that the doctor will have some good news regarding her ear problems. Also, a trip to Madison REQUIRES a trip to Trader Joe's! Yeah!!!!!

Good Morning Dave and the rest of IL!
I have already been up, showered and taken Tyler for bloodwork this morning and then on to school with him! The other boys got off to school before we left. Now I am just sitting here doing some catch up on emails and facebook before I start another chapter in math!
Mike and I went to a school board meeting last night that started at 6pm and was about the Financial Reduction Plan they want to pass because the school district is getting screwed from the state and losing a ton of funding! (like everyone else too). Finally at 9pm we had to leave..I couldn't sit anymore after sitting there for 3 hours! Who knows what's going to happen but they want to close a school here that is for special needs and at risk kids. It's a shame too. I believe those types of programs need to be in place.
anyway, nothing else going on today, just the usual.
