ROLLY POLLY SUNDAY ROLL CALL.
Hi Everyone.
This week has been fun. I had two termination letters from work twice in one day (the first one had the wrong date on it), plus they sent another copy by certified mail. So, I got fired three times this week for the same job.
Friday was a county-wide institute day. I went to a workshop with a really interesting speaker. I got to sit with a couple of former co-workers from the high school I worked at in Elgin. Four teachers from my current school were also at the workshop.
DH didn't work at all this last week.
My parents invited us to lunch on Saturday. We met them at Olive Garden. I usually have pretty good luck with soups, but didn't order any, as their bowel of soup is too large. I got an appetizer, which didn't agree with me and made me sick. I don't know why.
We stopped out at Bass Pro Outlet World to exchange a pair of Crocs that had broken last week, when I was trying to get the hanger off of them. (I've never worn Crocs before)
Today, we went to Woodman's, mostly for soups. I bought some smoked chubs, but haven't tried them yet.
Not much else going on. Have a great day.

I have been thinking about you and your pink slip. My niece works with U-46 somewhere directly in the Elgin portion of the district (primary grades). I am worried about her because she wants to have WLS and I have been trying to direct her with info. I hope she did not get the ax. I will have to e-mail her.

Hi everyone!
I know this is late on sunday, but just wanted to say hi!!
Dave I'm so glad you had a awesome date, having someone to look forward to, just kind of makes life alittle better sometimes. I hope you aren't coming down with the crud I had, I'm still not 100%. I ended up losing over 7 pounds last week from being extremely sick. It hit me fast and hard a week ago this past saturday.
I'll be keeping everyone who is feeling under the weather in my thoughts and prayers, along with those with job and financial concerns.
Carol OMG!!!, that little Bella is ADORABLE!!!!
Well as far as I know I will be there saturday. I had my son bowl out for league that day, so I wouldn't feel guilty about him missing. I can't wait to meet everyone, I'm so excited. Wish those of you who can't come, could, but will look forward to meeting you at the next one.
Oh by the way my DH has a transfer interview Thursday in Ohio...wish us luck but then again don't...you know what I mean. We want to move cause its a job but then again we don;t want to leave our families or friends.
Ok on a good note last night the DS talked me into to going to Fox Valley Mall (naperville). Well guess what? I got into a Jr. XL fitted button down shirt and a 14 jean and a 16 bathing suit, I know this sounds silly but I stood there crying like a baby again in the dressing room. My DS was like mom OMG look at how small you are when I came out trying each thing on...it was another WOW moment for me. Just wanted to share, thank you for listening.
Big Hugs,
Angie

WOW Angie....you are just getting smaller and smaller. Isn't it a great feeling? Hopefully my DH and I will be at the meet and greet on Saturday. I'm hoping he doesn't have to work.
On the job issue- I know what you mean about not wanting to move away, but a job is a job....I wish him well. Good luck!
