Nancy -
You are too funny....  I could never be a stripper.  I tell ya, all this sagging skin and the girls going South.. WAY South can be a bit depressing when you have to bare it all at the doc appointments.. I had my EKG yesterday and gosh..
I wanted to crawl under the chair.
Nothing like someone having to lift them out from under the arm pit... LOL
If I ever hit the lottery, there is going to be one rich plastic surgeon.

have more griddles then undies! LOL I hate the sagging too but its much better then the fat. My granddaughter had to have her arm set on Tuesday, she wanted gma to carry her out of the hospital I was shocked about the fact I could walk the distance to take her to the car. I even panicked a bit when I thought I can not do this. I did not even get winded!  So I just hold as much sag as I can up with a good girdle! I started out with a 2x and now in lg. Its awesome!

Our exercise classes are going well, we are going to add pool exercises to our weekly work-outs. The Americ Inn in Peoria will let us use the pool and hot tub for 3.00 each for as long as we want. So now I have to figure out how to hide the skin and be comfortable about getting in water. I think I will wear a t-shirt and leggings!!!! Look like a gal from the 20's  LOL!!!!!

If I win the lottery Christina  and its enough we will see a plastic surgeon together.... See if we could get a buddy plan!!!

Well gotta go!

Karen

Good morning Angie and the rest of Illinois

I am back at work today after our friend's funeral yesterday.  I have to say that I want a funeral/Celebration of Life JUST LIKE that one.  The service lasted about an hour and a half, the church was packed to standing room only and other mourners were watching on a screen in the basement.   The music was uplifting and the message was to be grateful for the time we were able to have him in our lives.  Todd is still having a very hard time of it, but we all are looking ahead with different eyes.  I am also in kind of a funk today, but I am sure once work is done I will feel better.

I am picking Riley up after work today and she is spending the night with Liv and I.  It is Amber's birthday and she and her husband are going to have some alone time to celebrate.  They get to go see Cirque de Soleil this afternoon, then dinner after.  Todd and the Scouts are camping this weekend, so it will be just us girls.  We are thinking of renting "The King and I".  That is the summer show at Pec Playhouse and Liv wants to audition.  We think it would be a great idea for her to learn about the show first.  The library has the original book and a audio diary by Anna that we are also looking to check out.

Dave, my thoughts are with you for a great test score and Nancy, I am SO sorry to hear about your expensive week.  It seems that when it rains, it pours.

I hope everyone dealing with sickness gets better soon, hopefully, Spring will be here before we know it.

Today, I am grateful:
That we got to have our friend in our lives,
That I am healthier than I have been in 20 years,
That I am lucky enough to be loved by the love of my life.

Wishing you all love and laughter!

Tell someone that you love them!

Good morning Angie and Illinois!

Hope your feeling better soon. Not much going on here...laundry...house cleaning...errands. That will keep me busy most of the day. Even tho I didn't feel like going to the gym yesterday, I went. The workout made me feel better. I'm in a slump and need to dig out of it. If my sinuses would clear up I would feel so much better.
Dave-good luck with your exams.
Crystal-hope you have a date soon.
Dawn-my thoughts nad prayers are with you and Todd.
Nancy-hope your done paying out unexpected expenses.
To those I missed-sorry...hope your day is filled with joy!

Have a great day everyone.
Carol

Good morning all!

I have been in and out of work with a sick me and a sick child - so I am sympathizing with everyone here!

Just working on some presentations today.  I am training about 50 teacher and staff on a bullying prevention program for their school and that is taking a lot of time.

DS 4th birthday is next week.  He is getting so big I want to cry.  I can't wait until Doc gives me the go ahead to start trying for another one!  I know it won't be until Decemberish - but these past 2 months have gone so fast I suspect it will be here in no time!

*Edit to add what I am grateful for*
1. A healthy family.  DH is wonderful and DS keeps me on my toes
2. A brother and sister who are both great at pep talks...when ever I need one and sometimes when I don't.
3.  A steady job that allows me to do what I do best, help others.
4.  My attached garage.  I had NEVER had one before until I was 30.  It's been two years and the novelty hasn't worn off yet!

Good morning friends,

I am so glad it is Friday. I'm going to knit with my friends and also get a haircut. Otherwise a quiet weekend coming up.

I am grateful for the birds at the feeder that I can see from my computer.

I'm also grateful for the love of my life.

I'm grateful for rediscovering knitting which is bringing me so much fun.

Good morning,
I just got done cleaning and I am going to go into Rockford and get my glasses fixed and relax for the day.  I think I may go rent 'Fireproof" and Ryan and I can watch it tonight.  I hope everyone has a good weekend!

"Fireproof" is well worth the rent. If you can manage it buy it for future viewing. We got it Wally World.

Hello iLLINOIS,

I hope everyone who is sick gets better soon. I knoiw about extra expenses.  Luckily we don't have any at the moment.

My daughter just finished High School Muical for our park district.  Rentig the movie helped me and refresh her memories of it.  Good luck.

Good Morning,

Just a quick check in, as I am dealing with alot of issues with Noah this morning.

Noah was discharged from one hospital on Wed and readmitted to another one on Wed night.  I did not think he was ready to go home, but they insisted on sending him home, and of course just as I thought, he had to go back in.  We sent him to another more strict hospital where he has been in the past, and has had success at, but now we are dealing with insurance headaches!!

My stomach pain is still there, hard to eat, hard todrink, went to see the GI specialist and he reccommended an endoscopy to see what is going on down there.  So I am scheduled for Thursday at  3:30pm.  He says it could be ulcers, or problems with the staple line, or irritation of some kind, or even ciliac disease.  He says sometimes celiac disease lays dormant until someone has a big surgery like this and then it rears its ugly head.  OH MY!  Really I just want the pain to go away, Im guessing it is stress related with all that is going on here.

I still losing wt, down 89 pounds, probably due to the stress again and the no desire to eat or drink, but I also feel very dehydrated and lethargic, and get alot of muscle cramps, ( again probably due to dehydration).

I hope everyone has a good weekend and those with illness get better soon!

I am greatful for my husband, daughter and my son Noah, who even though he is having a hard time lately, I love with all my heart and soul!
