FRIDAY EARLY EARLY MORNING ROLL CALL!!!
Good Morning Everyone!!!
Got woke up from a coughing fit. Like Crystal I'm still not feeling well at all, can't seem to shake this one quickly. The only up side to being sick after RNY is it really jump starts if your in a stall, I've lost 5.6 pounds since last friday, feeling pretty weak and shaky, but at least now I'm starting to keep liquids and food down again. Still get queasy very easily. Today I had to get my oil changed in my car and was running all day today, so right about now I'm feeling like alittle bit of a relapse is happening. Ok enough of my wimpering and whining!!!
Crystal I'm so HAPPY for you!!! And I hope you start feeling better so you can really enjoy that good news. Get some much needed rest over the weekend if you can.
Christina insurance companies are such a pain. Last week I had to call and deal with ours about covering blood work and a dr visit. Good luck!
Paul I'm glad to hear your schooling is going well and that you totally love it.
To everyone that I may of forgot, I'm so sorry. But at this point I'm exhausted!!
Here's hoping and wishing everyone that is under the weather, starts to feel better ASAP. And all of us job hunting and have spouses also doing the same...I pray daily for you!!!
Well I'm going to try and go back to bed, now that the meds are starting to kick in.

I didn't write yesterday. I was doing OK, but I went to work early to get some stuff caught up on and just forgot to write.
All is good.
I have my big exam tomorrow, so I need everyone to pray for me..... or cut up chickens..... or what ever you do to talk to God. (I would suggest praying) I need to pass this for the scholarships. There is fat cash at stake. I can get abotu $40,000 Aif it works out. Plus I have to take a basic skills test for my program tomorrow too. I should do ok on thaty, but I still need prayer for that one too.
Anyway, gotta run.

It's early, but wanted to stop by and say Hi. Not much going on today just the usual. I'm working on a project at work that isn't going well and is frustrating to say the least. I think today I will do something to try to move it along. We are rolling out a new automated customs clearance system and it is so buggy but I have to have it ready by April 13th. The biggest problem is it takes a week to get material to test it so we are constantly behind as we don't know what needs to be tested next. I've waited a week now for a fix on one piece so I can tell the people in EU what test scenerios I need next. Then I wait for them to get the test material ready. A real pain. Tomorrow we have an off site meeting for half a day at a nearby hotel. I hate giving up my Saturdays but it is only once a year and two years ago I was working every Saturday. I'm getting lazy...hahaha. The only hard part will be having to carry my own snack meals and my protien shake. Otherwise there will be too much temptation.
My DH is still looking for a job and we are limping along with our situation. My step son, his wife and two kids live with us. They have decided it would be cheaper if they bought their own food and paid the utility bill. Which is the exact amount they give us to live here. So good luck with that.
Well I now feel I'm just complaining and I need to go work out so I stop this. Everyone have a great day. I hope the good news about surgery's keeps coming. Those of you out there with the flu, thank you for not sharing and I hope you get to feeling better soon. Those with projects, school, knitting, or just work in general, may you day be blessed with good progress and great joy.

We have a new desktop computer, so I don't have to start the dinosaur of a laptop to get on here. I HATE that thing.
I have had my great nieces and nephew all week. I appreciate the family trying to keep me busy, but I am exhausted, and feel like I really haven't got to mourn. Today I have to go to the social security office to report mom's death, and I plan on being there by 8. They don't open till 9, but if you aren't there early, I won't get seen until afternoon.
Next week is job hunting. Everyone around here is laying off, so I don't know how that will be. I was told to go to the local school, that they needed people, but in a couple of months, I would be without a job again until next school year. I guess I will just wait and see.

Hello everyone
AHHH I made it to Friday. I'm still feeling really sick and I think it's going into my chest because I just can't stop coughing. I had a bad night last night. I had so much trouble sleeping. But at least tomorrow I can sleep in.
Well yesterday was a good day for me. I called my insurance company and found out I was approved for surgery. It only took three days!!! I just have to wait for the approval letter in the mail. After I give the doctor's office my approval letter than I will get my date. I can't believe I will have a surgery date soon!!! Finally...this really was a test of my patience.
Then after a two hour meeting yesterday with some excecutives I was pulled aside and told that it has been agreed that my supervisor position (I was supposed to be promoted last November) is of great importance to the company and they are going to try to pu**** even though there is currently a salary freeze. But the president of the company will have to sign off on it. I have my fingers crossed. So needless to say yesterday was a really good day (even if I was sick as a dog). My mom is really looking out for me.
Well enough about me. I hope everyone will have as good of a day as I had yesterday.

Angie, I am sorry that the darned cold/flu is hanging on. This is one nasty bug. Knock on wood it has missed me so far.
Dave, prayers heading your way for your test tomorrow. I hope you get your big $$$. Then I can hit you up for some.
Christina, I am sorry your insurance company is giving you such grief. It gets so frustrating when they set their rules and regs and then leave it up to you to figure out what whims they have once you have a proceedure done.
Well, I hope that my expenses are done for awhile. The furnace was installed yesterday. It is wierd. You cannot hear it run. They warned me about this. There is no noise at all. No blower noise, no motor noise so cannot tell when it is on or off.
My car problems ended up being super expensive. I had to replace a thermostat which was very labor intesive due to where it was buried under the engine, replace wheel bearings in both front wheels, redo my brakes, change my oil and there was more but cant remember what all it was now. Total bill was just shy of $1500.00 and that was with a senior citizen discount.
So, I am ready to go out on a street corner with a hat and do some begging. I hear it can be pretty lucrative.
I am glad it is Friday and I hope this is the end of my spending spree against my will. Hope everyone has a great day!
