MONDAY MONDAY ROLL CALL
Good morning,
I couldn't sleep last night! I have the worst sinus infection in the world! At 2:30am I trieid to do that neti pot thing. I am so pluged up that it wouldn't drain in either nostril. I will be calling the doc this morning to see if he can give me a stronger med.
Chris, I hope you get feeling better. This flu bug that has been going around has been a mean one!!
Not doing much today. I have the kids, so we will just chill and play.

I'm at work and feeling a lot better. Boy, it took over a week to get this way. My appointment with Dr. Guske got cancelled. I'm getting so tired of all this rescheduling because he has surgery. I heard he is booked up through the end of April. I'm going to give them what for, when I call.
He wanted to see me in a month. Now we are talking 3 months. Don't get me wrong, I still love him but this is getting ridiculous!

Dave, I hope the car is everything they claim it is and it works out wonderfully for you! Lucky son you have! Mine will start driver's ed in Dec and I am dreading it already...lol
Today I will be calling the Dr about my shoulder pain that I have had for several months now and it's just not getting better. I have limited range of motion and since it's my right arm that's not good. Then I have to run to Petsmart to buy some dog food, it's on sale there and I have coupons! woohoo...I love when I can save money on pet stuff. Then nothing but homework and laundry until I have to pick up Jacob from drama practice at 4:30pm
I hope everyone has a wonderful, warm and safe day. Those who are sick, please feel better soon! It's been a rough winter for sicknesses....

Christine, please stay in bed. I know this stuff is nasty. DH has been down all weekend, and I fear I am following him. Nose is stuffed up pretty good. I am going to try some zinc tablets after I eat.

Lucy, Kate called me and reschuluded too. I now go in the 20th of March, instead of the 27th. I don't think they realize that alot of us work, and when they reschude, we have to redo our lives too.
I am off to work this morning too. I am just waiting for the van to warm up.

Good morning everyone!
Kay and I had that terrible cold and it was awful. I don't think I had had one in years. I even missed two days of work--rare for me. I have a lot of sympathy for those of you who are suffering!
This should be a typical work week I hope. It's hard to believe that Feb is almost over!

You are doing absolutely great Dave and good luck with the car.
I had an all right weekend. Although we are grieving for our friend, Todd did not want to cancel the Mardi Gras Party and a good time was had by all. We served King Cake, Red Beans & Rice, Jambalaya and Popeye's fried chicken. Amber made a really good Buffalo Chicken Dip and other friends brought assorted snacks. I had a chicken leg, red beans (no rice) and some of Amber's dip. We still have lots of left overs. We played lots of games to earn our beads and everyone laughed and enjoyed it all.
Yesterday we were able to go see our friend's wife and talk with her a bit. I feel terrible about it all, and something Olivia said about broke my heart. Many of you know how Liv is very sensitive about violence..........on Friday night, she told David that he shouldn't go to the gas station "because he might get shot and killed". We will have to take extra care with her, I think. We have to assure her that we will keep her safe, and that type of violence is much less likely in our area than in Phoenix, AZ.
I am working as usual, then we have a very full week of evenings. We have something to do every night this week! I kind of hate that because I have been enjoying being able to be home and take care of my family in the evenings. Oh well.

My weekend for very busy.. Work, work and work. Nothing exciting at all. Looks like today will be the same way. Nothing else going on. Just tired and need some fuel. Feeling like I'm past E.

Good morning Dave and Illinois!
You are brave buying a car on ebay...
It is quiet here now that everyone packed up and went home. We went from a family of two to a family of ten. Oh my, I must be nuts but I really did enjoy all the grandchildren being here. It is too quiet now.
Now that they are gone I've got to clean up all the little fingerprints from the windows, tables etc.....While they were here they made cookies and decorated cupcakes they helped to make to celebrate Mike (turned 31 on the 20th) and Dan (turns 26 on the 24th) birthdays. I can't believe my sons are so old already. It seems like just yesterday they were crawling around my knees tripping me as I walked around the kitchen making dinner and now the grandchildren are taking their places.
So my agenda today is to do laundry and to start cleaning the house again. Hopefully I don't find anything left behind, tho someone took home my gym shoes.....I'm glad I just bought a new pair.
Still having computer problems...hope to save some documents before it crashes.
