Sunday Roll Call
Hey out there Illinois. One more day to the weekend. What's on everyone's agenda today?
I need to get over to Platt Hill Nursery today and pick up some last seeds for my garden. I decided to start most of my plants this year myself. I picked up a grow light a couple of days ago. Then I will go over to Joann Fabrics because I need some velcro and I also want to look at sewing chairs. After that I will come home and try to get the vest done that I have started.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
I spend far too much on my annuals and this will cut the cost more than in half for me. I still purchased my tomatoes and peppers in plant form from Burpee because I did not need a bunch of seeds - just a couple of plants. I do all my flowers and veggies in containers. I do not dig in the ground anymore, too many weeds and I do not want to dig into my mulch.

It is nice that there was no more snow after mid morning, just blowing a little.I bought a Toro electic snowblower and have had it repaired twice. It does one or two rows and then stops. The belt breaks or skips. I went out with my son yesterday and it happened again. The dealer I took it to said that should not happen and they will look into it more and then call Toro. Quality assurance is not what it used to be. I had a previous one for ten years with no issues. The sonow was pretty light so it took less than half an hour to do it.Have a nice day and enjoy the Oscars tonight if you watch.

The start of a new week....hopefully it will be less stressful than last week.
Earl and both granddaughters have had terrible colds and coughs yet again. The girls had fevers too off and on. The doctor said it is a nasty virus that is hard to shake, no antibiotics, just treat the symptoms. They just can't seem to shake the virus. I'm praying that Jen & I don't get it back again either. Cheyanne's birthday party is this afternoon and she was supposed to sing in church at 8 am this morning. Of course Cheyanne was running a fever again late last night and coughing and up off and on all night. Jen called at 6:45 this morning she decided to let the girls sleep in and skip church this morning. Hopefully they will feel better after they get up later and get nebulizer treatments again. Cheyanne's party is at an arcade with some of her classmates and cousins.
I hope you all have a blessed day.
Hugs, Paulette
Good morning friends!
We are going out to breakfast with some friends and then I might go to Borders later. Of course knitting is on the agenda too. Hopefully all the errands will be done by noon so that I can go back home and snuggle in.
Have a good day!

Christine, it was nice to see you start the roll call today. It's always great whenever someone starts it, but since you were the original starter........
I hope everyone who is going out for breakfast has a great time. I am making breakfast for my daughter and family. They are on thier way up here to pick up Morgan

DH has been down with something. He is going to work, but then coming home and sleeping. If he isn't any better tomorrow, I am going to insist he sees the dr.
I have no plans for today, other then breakfast this morning. Then get stuff ready for the coming week,
Have a great day, stay warm and safe.
Huggers,
Lisa
Hope that everyone has a great Sunday.
At least I woke up to no additional snow!! I am ready for Spring!!
Haven't decided if I am going to the fitness center today or going to get on the treadmill here and walk, walk, walk, walk.................................
Tonight I am going to an Oscar party. Should be fun! It will be my first 'official' post-op outting wiht my friends. Should be interesting. I really can't imagine having any issues controlling myself with the food . I will be bringing a dish that I know that I can eat. I am still nervous though--don't know why.
Have a great day!!

Well, Happy Sunday!

I am headed off to church in a little bit.
My new TV is awsome. I only watched about 15 minutes lastnight after I got home from running around in the snow. I am thinking of having Friday movie night for all the kids in the area. I cam rent something from Redbox and buy some popcorn. (Sounds like a lot of vaccuming on Saturday.)
I live in a duplex community. There are about 30 ? families that live here. All rental properties. (I rent since my divorce) The rent is pretty cheap. A lot of single parent families, seniors, disabled folks live here. But the area is so nice. Everyone knows everyone. The landlord throws out people who cause trouble. They do a good job of keeping the place up. It was a rare find out here in the college town. A good affordable well kept apartment complex. I really like it here.
Sorry to hear about your snowblower. I have had the same TORO gas snowblower for about 10 years and it does a great job. I also have an electric that I have no problems with. I really like the gas one, but it isn't worth dragging out for light snows.
I always start my own plants. Usually a couple tomato plants and a dozen or so sunflowers. I have about 4-5 different sunflowers. I found seeds for white sunflowers this year. I always use an egg carton to start them in. I buy a flat of eggs (Like 2.5 doz. and grow in that.) I always get 4-5 little kids in the neighborhood to help plant them so they can be proud of their sunflowers. My kids are getting too old, they dont think its cool anymore.
So, Im headed off to church.
Have a good day everyone.
