How do I join this group?

Can you help me? I am new to Obesity.com. I am from Illinois. I had my surgery on February 4, 2009 and would like to join some Illinois groups. Can you direct me to where I join specific groups?

Cheryl, I am at a loss at the moment to figure out how to join a "group". I do know if you go to "My OH" (upper left in the dark blue bar)  it takes you to your personal settings area. I do not know if I ever joined a group, but it appears that you can. Sometimes I can find my way around the computer and other times I cannot.

There is a "Daily "(insert day of the week) Roll Call", tho sometimes the poster "strays" from the correct title that it should be. Many do not know that I started the roll call close to 2 years ago, but I will give them the grace of naming it what they may. Sorry, I work in law enforcement and I have a propensity for regularity as it comes with the job after close to 30 years.

Come in and join the daily roll call and introduce yourself, even if it is not every day that you can make it.

I think I met you this morning at the ABMC support group.  WELCOME TO THE ILLINOIS BOARD!

Come and check in everyday if you can and ask any questions you may have.  There are so many knowledgable people on this board and they are all wonderful and willing to help!

Please join us for the roll call and get to know us.  We really are a great group.  Also, we ar having a get together in Elgin the first weekend in March in Elgin.  Plan on joining the group that day.  You will find the details on another post here.  Daves an RN is planning it and if you have questions just email him or ask any of us.  If I remember right, he did a post on Friday with details about the get together.

Welcome to the best forum there is on OH. Our daily roll call is the best. It is how we all stay in contac with each other. Please join in on a daily basis, or whenever you can.

I see you also have our Dr. Mcdreamy. As you already know, he is a great Dr.

I hope you can join us on March 7th. We are having a gettogether at the Chicago Pizza Authority, on 840 Summit St. in Elgin. Its at 1:00.
Dave is in charge, and like Nancy said. There is a previous post with most of the info on it.

To join this group or board, you just post.  No special stuff required!

As the others have said, we post to the daily roll call to keep up with heach other's lives and we tryh to get together in person many times a year.

I do know what Christine is referring to about joining an OH Group, but I don't know that any of us have done that.
