Saturday Morning Roll Call
I am up brite and early. I have my class this morning so soon will be mushing out the door.
Dave, Congratulations on your wonderful achievement! Welcome to the century club. You now need a century card.
Crystal, whew, that long 6 month diet is behind you! I hope your insurance approval comes quick.
Lori, I hope your band surgery went without any hitches yesterday. Speedy healing.
My night turned very expensive last evening. I came home to no heat. My furnace is currently put together with used parts to hopefully get me through the weekend. It looks like I am buying an new furnace this week. That sure wasn't in the budget. I just told my heating contractor a few months ago, "It works fine, I dont think I want to replace it when it is still working" Did he know something I didn't????
Hope everyone had a good day and did not get buried in snow!

Good morning Nancy and IL friends.
Oh, Nancy I know how it feels with no heat. My house was down to 43 degrees once. Brrrrr!! I hope you can get it fixed without having to replace the furnace.
I'm watching the snow coming down. Ughhh!!
No special plans this weekend.
Hope everyone is safe and warm. Have a wonderful Saturday.
Hugs,
Lucy
Hello everyone
I am just going to relax this weekend. I'm going to do some cleaning. I also am putting together a new photo albulm. I have a bunch of photos from my mom.
The snow looks pretty outside. I always think its pretty when I don't have to go any where.
I am looking forward to my surgery. I will be calling the insurance company to make sure they received my stuff. Is it bad to start hounding them or should I just let it be? What do youguys think?
Nancy-sorry about your furnace. I guess that is the one good thing about apartments, I never have to make repairs.
Well you guys have a great day.
I came down and looked out and wated to go back to bed. Im going to go out at 9 and start shoveling. I have not heard any snow plows yet. All I have to do today is take my daughter to her play this afternoon. I won't let her drive in this.
Stay warm everyone. have a good weekend.

Well, it doesn't look like we got as much snow as we thought we were going to get. I think there is only about 2 inches on the ground.
GD and I are going to work on my quilt today. Hopefully I will get the top done and then pin the 3 layers together. Whatever material that is left after we fini**** I will stuff into a pillow.
We went grocery shopping yesterday. I forget how expensive kids can be at the store

We made Red Velvet cupcakes yesterday, today I think we will make No Bake granola bars.
We were supose to go to a Blue Grass Festival tonight. Not sure if we will since DH has a heck of a winter cold.He went to work, but we will see.
I hope everyone has a great day, stay safe and warm.
Huggers,
LISA
Well I am officially banded. It was a long day. My surgery was scheduled for Noon but the doctor was running behind. During my surgery he discovered I had a hiatel hernia that had to be repaired so everything took longer. I finally got home last night around 7:30. I am sore but the meds seem to be working pretty good. The worst part is my dry mouth. Thank goodness for ice chips! I also feel like I need to cough but I am scared to do so. I know it will hurt.
Dave--Congrats on the awesome weight loss. You are an inspiration to all.
Everyone have a great day!
Good morning!
It is pretty outside and we are going to mush out and go knitting. Kay is taking a class on a certain kind of sweater and I am just hanging out with my friends.
Thanks for all the anniversary well wishes yesterday. Who would have thought 23 years ago that it would be safe to talk about this!
Have a great day!
Connie
