Dawn, I'm so sorry to hear about your close family friend. that is horrible. Something so senseless, its just hard to come to terms with something like that.
Also I will be thinking of your advice today as I am meeting an old friend today for dinner. Its very true what you say. I still am very sad that I had not talked to my mom for awhile before she died.

I am so sorry to hear about Todd's friend. I really understand the shock and trying to wrap your head around the event. My best friends brother in law was a manager for Burger King and was murdered as he was opening the restaurant 2 years ago. You read about these things in the paper and think "Gee, that is too bad" but you never dream it can happen to someone you know. Then to sit and read about it day after day in the papers is just mind boggling.
Life wiped out at a moment's notice for no reason is just awful. Prayers for your friends family.

Dawn, I am so sorry to hear about your friend. These kind of things are why we travel so much. There is only so much time.
For everyone else, I hope you have a healthy and safe day. Who knows how much snow we will get?
This is our 23rd anniversary weekend so we are going out to dinner at Brio, our total favorite restaurant and spend the rest of the weekend knitting. I've gotten Kay addicted too!

Aaaah! So THIS is ROLL CALL!!!! LOL - I fouuund it! Hi Dave, hi everyone. Just checking in. My husband and I are newbies. He having his surgery March 16th. Cory weighs 487, is 6 feet tall and the sweetest teddy bear in IL. Please keep us in your prayers. I signed him up for this board but I will do all the typing for him....cause he...uuuh...PECKS....(ugh).
