I was invited to go to Vegas...
with my mom! She called me up last week and said that she had 4 free nights at the hotel she always stays at and wanted to take me there as a celebration of my 1 year from surgery! woohoo. She's paying for the plane tickets and all I have to bring is money for food and whatever else I want to buy. We even said that we would split meals and it would be cheaper. I am SO excited. I have been there before with my mom and boy do we walk walk walk, it's always fun and with Crystal and Dee losing their moms recently, I will enjoy the time I have with my mom now. She's not getting any younger and has some health problems as well.
I will be gone from Sunday March 29th through Friday April 3rd. We are going right inbetween my 2 surgery dates! LOL I am heading out to her house a day early since we have to be at the Rockford Airport fairly early Monday morning.
I just hope the weather will be nice out there by then!!

In all the times we've been there we've never used the pools. I don't even have a bathing suit right now. I'll have to see if I can find one that fits okay...lol
As for gambling, we rarely do that, we love to just walk around the strip and we do a lot of shows and things like that. I would love to do the Hoover Dam tour...maybe I'll ask her about that

Thats so nice of your mom. It is a great gift. I just love going to Vegas, I like wearing a pediometer to see how many miles I walk in a day. Last Sat I went to Bloomington to shop and by the end of the day I had walked 5 miles! So just imagine the miles you will put under your belt in that time frame!
