Randy,  I am a little concerned about the pain in your legs.  I had bad leg cramps that ended up being DVT's that broke off and became pulomnary embolisms.  Do you have cramps often or is this a new symptom?  If this is something new, I urge you to get it checked out with your doctor.  Better safe than sorry.  You do NOT want a clot to end up in your lung.  Trust me -- been there and done that. 

Dave, good luck on your test Saturday.  I am sure you will do well.  I hope you get an A at your doctor and nut's appointment as well.  

It is PT day for me.  I am looking forward to the pool.  I felt so good after my session on Thursday.  I hope today is the same.  

Work has been busy with different/more complicated calls the last few days so that keeps me on my toes.  I hope for the routine today.

I perspire like crazy even in cold weather when I have to walk around so that is when I get cramps.  I also have this crazy leg kick thing that I forget the name of that was diagnosed during sleep study as well as the creepy crawly leg stuff.  The gabepentin helps a lot though and I normally only take half of what I am prescribed so doubling only means I took the full dose last night. 

restless leg syndrome - is that the name?

That is one name for the creepy crawley feeling when you are awake but I think mine is neuropathy.  The kicking while I am asleep is periodic leg movement disorder.

Today is an exciting and sad day.  Today is my mom's birthday.  Happy birthday mom...

Also, today is the day I have been waiting for- its my last weigh in!!!  Life is funny when I made this appoinment last month I even said "oh that's my mom's birthday"  now she's gone.  But now I know she will be my good luck charm.  
I can't wait until I finally get my surgery.

Dee-  I am very sorry for your loss.  As I am still dealing with the loss of my mom too.  I know how you are feeling.  We are all here for you.

I'm sorry to hear about your leg cramps. I haven't had them in quite some time. They are so painful.

Dee, the next couple of days are very emotional and draining on the family. I went through it when my dad passed away, now almost 10 years ago. I shed a lot of tears for some time. Just know that you've done everything possible for your Mom and she knows how much you loved her. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!

I'm back at work today. Didn't want to have to go to the doc and get a return to work note. That is required if I am off for 3 days or more.

My cough isn't as bad as it was yesterday. I still have the sniffles. I'm going to try and work most of the day. There's so much to do.

Anyone here about the large amount of snow we're supposed to get starting Friday night into Saturday? I heard something in the neighborhood of 7 inches! That was on the WGN news at 9 last night. Ugh!! When will winter be over? Not soon enough for me.

Well, gotta go.

Good morning.
Getting ready to head out the door to drive the kiddies all to school!
I am really thinking of moving to warmer weather, I just can not get with this winter season. I use to never wear a  coat. Now I wear a hoodie, coat, 2 pair of gloves, scarf, and some days 2 hats!!!! Burrrrr!!
Nothing exciting to report just nagging about the weather!!

Good Morning IL

Today I will be doing homework and just putzing around I think.  I did major cleaning for 3 hours yesterday when I found out that my cousin from FL was coming over! lol  She and her daughter came over for a few hours last night and we had a good time catching up and her daughter is just so cute.  She'll be 5 in May and just talks up a storm. 

Tonight Jacob and I will be heading to our breeder's house since we cancelled last night so I could see my cousin.  Other than that, nothing going on other than trying to stay warm today...I want spring to come already!!

I almost finished my second summer sweater last night. I just have to put on the collar. For those of you who ask, a summer sweater is cotton and is to wear to air-conditioned restaurants or cruise ships, etc. This one is sort of a cape because the sleeves are all knit in one piece with the sweater. TMI for most of you I'm sure.

My protein intake has certainly been more varied since I had a bit of saline taken out of the band. I was really struggling with the denser proteins and now they are fine. Had flounder with crab stuffing last night (Trader Joes). It was yummy.

Today is my Friday as always and since I have a busy day I'd better go to work.

I am at lunch right now.....2 busy days in a row!

It is pretty cold out there, but Spring will have to come eventually.  Let's just keep that in mind.

We are busy planning our Mardi Gras party for Saturday.  It is looking like it will be a good time.  We are going to play games to earn our beads as the usual way will not really work with the kids around!  I am looking forward to it!  Rock City may never be the same!

Besides that, not much else is happening in my corner.  Liv is feeling better after the 5 day stomach flu, but she now has cold symptoms.  The cold doesn't have her down though, and that is good.
