Well, here I am up, awake, typing and eating when I should be down, sleeping, perchance to dream.  That last nit is not my original work.

I went into the city today and spent some time hanging out at Jack Schwartz before going to an Agile seminar at the Aon Building.  All in a days work for most folks but for me a major undertaking that left me with sore feet and leg cramps.  More than an hour in bed not sleeping before the cramp decided to go full ninja on me so I got up and had two SlimFast meal bars, a grey centum generic and a double scoop drink of  SlimFast High Pro.  I think I am going to have to take a couple of extra gabepentins if I am going to get some sleep as my shins and calves are still living a life of their own down there.  Hopefully I can get in eight before eleven when I plan to be at an online seminar for business analyst.

There is a pot of Cafe D waiting to be made.  This batch will likely test even better than the first as I found the decaf Maxwell House french roast.  It smelled yummy when it was mixed up.

Good Morning to all,

I have the TV on, and they are talking about the snow that dropped  N. of Chicago. We were spared , all we got was a thin frosting, mostly on the grass. I don't even think it stuck to the windsheild of the cars.

My day will consist of doing housework and errands, Then, we will going to Bloomington to pick up our GD for the weekend. There is a "sock hop" at her school this evening, so we will be goingthere before we come home. I love doing things with her.

The rest of the weekend, I am hoping to get so projects finished, I have a rug that needs about 6 inches to finish,  and a quilt that is within  30x50 inch lenght to finish. Well, to get the top done.

BTY, I had a good thing happen yesterday. I try to work on the gazell every day, sometimes it doesn't happen but I try to. Anyway, I use it for the 20 min that is reccomended, and usually do 2/10th to 3/10th of a mile. Ok, I know it isn't great, but its something. Yesterday I was able to do .5 mile. I was happy and NOT winded! Now I want to add the tread mill into this. Will see how it goes. I really can't believe that I am happy  and excited about exercise!

Stay safe and warm.

Good morning all.  Today is one of the hardest days.  Today is mom's visitation.  I will hold onto my faith.  Just wanted to run in and say thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

Here is mom's obit.

 ((((((Dee)))))

I will be  thinking of you today.  The visitation and funeral services are hard but they do help with closure.  They bring comfort to be able to hear stories about your mom.  Many people may share things that you never knew!  I did have a sense of being on autopilot to some extent but I also enjoyed hearing from mom's friends.  Hang in there.  Also, allow the tears if needed.  They are healing.

Dee you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers today!  Know that you mom is looking down on you all and rejoicing in her health and being with the Lord now!  I know that doesn't make it any easier to say goodbye, but know that we will all be with you in spirit today!

Randy, sorry that your dogs and legs are screaming at you, hope you got a little bit of rest and that the online seminar goes well. Would that be considered a Webonar Not sure if the spelling is correct. I just heard that term about a month ago. What will they think of next?

Off to work here in a while. I have a meeting in Woodridge for an organization that I am the secretary for, called LERMI=Law Enforcement Records Managers of Illinois.

Chris, that's exactly what they are called, Webinars...Mike does them at least once a month for his work here too.  It sure beats sitting in a classroom or auditorium all day..lol  and you can eat and go to the bathroom when you want too. lol

Yes this was a webinar.  I was moderately interested in the content but even more interested in how it was conducted.  This was the first webinar for this organazation and was on gotomeeting. Willow already uses similar technology to meet with international partners beyond all the flying around Bill and others do.  I attend a lifegroup on Thusday evening via similar technology as well with lifechurch.tv.  Perhaps we should have some winter get togethers in this fashion as well as it would allow us to get together with downstate folks.

Randy, thanks for the corrected spelling on the webinar. I am glad that you were able to glean some information from it.

I think that is a great idea about the downstate folks to participate in the get togethers - I think it needs tweaking. Maybe we should put you in charge of that.   You and Paul sure are the technology minded persons when it comes to that. (shoot, I just learned today how to create a template!!!!!)  I hope somewhere down the line that Dee can join us for one. Maybe she can drive as far as the Peoria area (or Champaign/Urbana)  and then car pool with someone.  I know that she has her mind occupied somewhere else right now . . . .   Been there done that with loosing someone.  Crying 1
