Ruby Tuesday ROLL CALL

HI all,

Early morning today. Don't know why, but I couldn't sleep.

I think I am coming down with something. I couldn't eat anything but one protein bullet yesterday.

Everything else I threw up all day. Then I had the snipies all day. SO i am guessing I am pretty clean.

I feel pretty good, but my body is acting wierd.

Anyway, guess what I bought?

Too slow, I gotta tell you.

I bought a new TV.

Did I say TV?
 
I mean a huge TV. Its a 73 inch TV. IT IS HUGE. I can't touch both sides at the same time.

I am having it delivered on Friday. (The fine folks at Best Buy.)

Did I mention it is huge? The biggest TV Walmart has is about 50 inches. Its over a foot bigger.

I am happy. I have been using a big ld rear projection TV for about 5 years. It was made in the 80's I think? You had to sit directly in front of the TV or you couldn't see. But my new one..... its nice. I can't wait to get it in my tiny little living room. It will look like a Theater.

Everyone come on over and watch movies at my houes.

Anyway, same old routine today. Work, school, work, school, Tuesdays are my tired days. I am in class until ???? 6:30ish. Get home about 7. I start work every AM about 5:15 so I usually get going around 4:30. SO I am at work or school from 5ish till 6:30ish on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It makes for a long day.

Everyone have a good day. Google says it is supposed to be low 40's and rainy. Did we miss summer and it is fall already?

Good morning Dave and IL family. I can't sleep either.

I'm getting over my nasty cold. Dave, your new TV sounds heavenly. I've got a regular 32 inch screen TV and am happy with it. I don't have the space to hold a huge TV like yours.

Not sure if I am going to work this morning. Sitting up and debating the issue.

I don't have room for my TV. I have a tiny living room, but the TV is only about 8 inches thick so it I am going to pu**** up against the wall. I have the stand at home now because I had to put it together before the TV guys get here to hook it all up. It is maybe a foot deep and about 6 feet wide. The whole unit will only stick out about a foot from the wall.

It is coming on Friday. I can't wait.

Thanks Dave. I decided to take the day off. I checked my voice mail and forwarded them to my assistant to handle.

I can feel the excitement from you on your new TV.

 Good Morning Dave and Illinois Friends

Dave, did you say you got a new TV?  I think I heard you mention it in passing or something.  

Sorry you are coming down with something, that is no fun.  

Lucy, hope you get better soon.  Taking the day off is probably a good thing.  Rest will get you better faster.  

Dave, would you like to buy me a new TV?  I dont need one that fills my room.  Nothing that huge!  I can accept a small 23 = 32 inch one.  Your's has to be bigger than you!  You will feel tiny next to it.  The people will be the same size as you!  What fun!  

Yesterday was slower than molasses at work.  By 3pm I could not stand it any longer and put in for e-time and got it at 4pm.  Only an hour off but it saved my sanity!  I was trying to ride it out as I have physical therapy today and Thursday but could not stand it any longer!  Today will be normal again.  

We did have a pleasant surprise yesterday at work.  We were awarded a "World Class Customer Service Center"  We are among the top 5% of customer service centers in the world.  The company that does the evaluations monitor us and interview our clients to score us.  So we made the grade!  The head honchos from Naperville came down to recognize us yesterday.

Hello everyone

Another day at work.  I was so tired yesterday (my first day back).  I had 219 emails.  Needless to say that is what I spent most of my day doing.  I can't wait till the weekend.  I'm going out with some friends Friday.  I think they just want to cheer me up.  I have great friends. 

Nancy-  What is E-time?  I wish we had something like that too.  I was ready to go home yesterday at 3pm.

Well have a nice day.

 We get e-time which is time off without pay.  They give it to us when things are slow.  The company wins because they dont have to pay us and we win because we are not bored to tears!

Good morning  the rest of IL, Lucy hope you and Dave feel better soon, Not feeling good is the pits for sure,
The weather man just said that we could get 2 to 4 ins of snow I have had enough of that stuff for one year,
I call the bank yesterday they were open and my Money was back in something about when my tax return we put in it was missing one number and it came out over the weekend and had to be put in my acct by hand so who knows, I have not check this AM to see if Ace still has the two charges yet, will have to look,

For my day going to the Dr. to get my shot in my knee  other then that not much going on
Last night Rockford Support meeting was a nice size and I enjoyed meet up with my friends,

Wow!  And I though my new 42" TV was awesome.  Sounds like movie night will be at Dave's place!  

The next few days are going to busy for me tyring to get everything done at work and at home before my surgery.  I am busy but that is good.  I haven't had too much time to get overly nervous....yet!

For everyone who has or is getting  or just over a cold or flu, heres hoping you all get better fast, and with fingers crossed, keep it to yourselves. I really don't want to get it .

I am back to work today and tomorrow. Then another 4 day weekend. Did I say I could get use to this?
