I know what you are say believe me, I have lost 195 lbs and when I look back on my before pic, I say the same thing and think OMG who is that, Don't be sad you are making a big change now , that person you are now will be leaving you very soon,
I keep my other person on the fridge to remind me of how I was and never want to be again,

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
We all have been in the same boat. Thats why we all are here.
I was a couple cheeseburgers away from 500lbs.
No one ever imagines they would get that big.
I am lucky I am 6'5" tall so I spread it all out, adn still got around pretty good, but I was starting to feel it when I got the surgery.
I may go post some pictures of myself today. I got to see if I can find them.

One of the regrets that my DH and I had besides not having surgery sooner was that we did not have many pictures taken of us pre op. I know, I know - we co not like our pictures taken but we so often are asked for our before pictures to show people and we do not have many. We have a small photo album. We have found it inspirational to review and see where we came from and also to keep us motivated to keep the weight off and stay with our new life style.

I have added some pictures of me before surgery! I cried when I sen them! I never seen myself like that. I was in a 22 to 24 jeans today I am in a size 6 to 8. All and in about 2 yrs.
The pictures of me on the cruise I was on I thought I looked good!! Yea Right good for a blimp!
So yes we all started there, and thats why we are here!

Don't dwell on this situation. Focus on the fact that you have decided to take control of this beast that lies within you and you are doing something positive for yourself. Tape those pictures to your fridge and your protien boxes and anywhere you need, to to keep motivated to do the right things.
I'm only 4 months out and already I struggle to do the right thing but what keeps me motivated is that I'm down from 252 to 165 and I'm not going back. I'm going to take my vitamins, drink my protien shakes, eat what feeds my body and work out everyday because I have been given a second chance a life.
In a few months when your down some weight those pictures will become your badge of honor. You loved yourself enough to go thru this. Just look at all the pictures here on the forum, and think how hot your going to look.
