how to make them listen and understand you
okay so here's my question i have had some complications since surgery nothing too major. i tell my surgeon and his staff i am not feeling to well and i know they are listening but they aren't hearing me. I went to my primary doctor he believes me did some blood test said everything looks normal. So now I have no idea where or what to do. One of this staff in a nice way asked me was it in my head. Sad part is 2 weeks ago I would have said hell no. But now since the blood test was within the normal limits I do not know what to do. I am not making it up. I just wish someone would hear me and fix my problem. Any ideas on how to make them hear me???
I was vague on here bc I did not want to scare people away. so here is the short list of what is wrong. on 12/3 surgery on 12/31 found out i have an ulcer and had a stricture. on 1/3 i was hospitalized for 9 days bc i could not eat or drink and i got horrible pains on my right side. They checked ran test and it wasn't anything they could see so they figured my ulcer is just causing problems. I finally went home, thank god still had pain but not as bad think i just learned to deal with it bc i wanted to go home. I have had surgery over 10 weeks ago and I am still pretty much on liquids. I take one bite does not matter and it is either coming up or coming out, sometimes both go figure. I have been spitting and vomiting up bloods not in huge amounts but considering i never did that before thought that was rather weird. Being that my pcp took levels and said i am within the normal range i dont know. I take my vitis three times a day not twice bc i wake up sleepy and by 3pm i am exhausted. so i take another dose go work out and that gives me like 2-3 more hours before i crash and burn. Finally to top it all off I have gained 3lbs back. True I have still lost since surgery and from my heaviest but really a gain on top of everything else.
You can ask for a copy of your blood test results so you can see if the levels are with range. I would be wary if they refuse to give it to you. If they say no then have your primary ask to have it faxed or mailed to them so it can be reviewed by a second set of eyes. You are a little soon out for any of your levels to really have dipped too low. Check to see what your vitamin D, B-12 and iron is at, that can cause fatique if they are really low. If and when you get the copy you can then do your own research on line to educate yourself on what is going on with you.
In your second post you gave a whole litany of things that is going on with you. You just might need to give yourself time to heal because all of that can really take a toll on a person's body. Do not be really concerned with the 3# gain as you might be not feeding your body enough calories and it went into starvation mode and is just holding onto the calories you are taking in for nourishment. MORE than likely it is just a little fluid retention because really most cannot taken in 10,500 calories to cause a gain.
