T.G.I. Friday ROLL CALL

Well here we go into another weekend, and another Valentine's Day.

I wish nothing but the best for all the beautiful women on this site. I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day. (If anyone deserves a good Valentine's Day it is a bunch of ladies who have been mistreated for something as dumb as their weight for X many years.)

Remember NO CHOCOLATE! (Make him get you diamonds!) 

Today it is the same old thing.  Work school work school....... but it is friday.

My job for tomorrow got canceled yesterday, so I don't get to take my bus load of girls to go bowling after all. (Plus I lost about 12-14 hours of pay.)

So\I don't know what I am doing this weekend?

I may ask one of my single lady friends out to dinner on Saturday. Just so we can go out. Asking on Valentine's day if they would go out on Valentine's day isn't too late is it?

I may run to walmart and see what kind of Valentine's junk they have reduced. Maybe get some more Teddybears for the little girls at work. (And old ladies at work) I had one old lady ask where is my teddybear when I was giving them out. SO I ran out to Walmart  and got her one. All the old hens were sitting around work laughing about that. My job has a very diverse group working there. A lot of college students doing what I am doing. (Working about 35-40 hours a week,) A bunch of single mom's who bring their kids to work and send them to school from work while they go do their thing, and the rest are older retired folks. (70's) About 6-8 men and about 8-10 women. SO, I get to hang out with all kinds of people when I am there.

Thats about it.

Supposed to be in the 30's today. I am wearing a Hawaiian shirt to try to coax the sun out of hiding. Plus I look pretty good in my Hawaiian shirts.

Good morning Dave and IL Time to get up will I am up thank you Lexie,and Kacie (my dogs) so here I am drinking my , Today I go get my hair done and that is about it to me,
Dave I don't think Valentine's day is to late to ask someone out, but it might be to late to get into a nice Restaurant, We are going out to dinner Sat night to for Prime Rib, I can't wait and it should be a cheep dinner as we will get one dinner and share it.

I hear that more snow is coming,   but I hope not to much,

Dave, you crack me up!  That is sweet of you to get more bears and stuff for the people you work with.  I am sorry you wont get to spend valentines day with all those beautiful women.    But hopefully one of your ladyfriends are available.  

Keep wearing your Hawaiian shirts.  Hopefully they will help.  We have more snow coming tonight and I am ready for it to be done.  

As for the chocolate -- there is NO WAY you would keep me from having a piece of dark chocolate!  Just one piece will do it but it is still in my diet.  

Janet, I am so glad the fluid is out and you are feeling better. 

I hope our sick people are also feeling better.  About every other person I talked to yesterday had a nasty cold.  Good thing you cant catch those over the phone or I would be ready to croak!

By the way, if anyone cares, it is Friday the 13th.  I am not superstisious.  If I was I would be in trouble as I have one of these  all black cats that wakes me up every morning.

I'm taking my boys to meet Dennis Anderson and Grave Digger today. If you don't know who or what that is, good for you, you lucky stiffs! You clearly are not entering the work of Monster trucks like I am! BTW, I did this to myself--I thought my little boys would be interested. My 18-year old self would be laughing her butt off at me! LOL

Good Morning!

Only one week to go for my surgery.  I am ready for this except for everything I have to get done at work.  I took a week off but unfortunately the work is not taking the same week off!   I am going to college in the evenings and last night I aced my first exam in my business class!!  Not sure what I will be doing for V day.  Maybe it will be a chocolate protein shaket that day in honor of it.  Gotta have some sort of chocolate!!

Not much on my plate today. Just work around the house, and do some errands. It looks like a quiet weekend,  except for the Datona 500 on Sunday.

For everyone having to work today. Its Friday! Even if it is the 13th. I am a firm believer in you makeing your own luck. so the 13th is no different then any other date.

DH is heading up to our apartment today, hopefully it will get done! He is paneling one of the rooms now, and we will paint a couple of others. Then it will be done and ready to be rented!  We could of built a new house in the time it has taken,

Good Morning All -

Oh, happy Friday!!  I'm soooo glad it's friday.  It has been a long week here at work and I'm ready for it to be over.  No big plans for tomorrow.  Calvin is working.. I some how managed to be left off the schedule at Outback.  Here it's going to be a money making day and I'm not working.  It kinda stinks but oh well.. I could use a  lazy day.  I'm sheduled to work Sunday thru the rest of next week so I guess I'll make up for it if I don't fall over from just being tired.  Enough of that.

Good morning friends,

(Cough, cough) I am just hanging around waiting to be well again. I missed a day and a half of work. Tonight is the winter dance with the students and I would like to go, but I really will be exhausted if I do. It doesn't seem right to be off work on Thursday and go to the dance on Friday. I don't have to decide this minute. (Blows nose). It's a shame to miss a nice dinner I don't have to pay for!

I have a physical this afternoon which was already scheduled. Maybe they have found the cure for the common cold. I did hear on TV that they have decoded all 106 cold viruses. Maybe that's a hope for the future. Thinking about the cure for the cold shows you how desperate I've become confined to home. Get this girl something to do!

I'm all for dark chocolate for Valentines Day. Valor dark sugar free chocolate is absolutely to die for! They have some of the kinds at the fair trade store on 7th St. and 2nd Ave in Rockford, otherwise I get it online.

Enjoy the sun and brightness this morning for the snow comes tonight. Remember, snow in February can't last that long!

Good morning Dave and the rest of Illinois!

I wish you all a great Valentine's Day tomorrow.  We don't usually get to excited about the "Hallmark Holiday" due to the way our first one was spent.  (Long story.....)  I did get a card for each of them and some green M&Ms.  A chocolate protein shake sounds like just the ticket for me.  There was some talk about Todd actually taking me out to dinner, but I don't know if he ever made a reservation or not.

I stayed home yesterday with Liv.  She woke me up at 12:30 yesterday morning vomiting violently and she continued every 20-30 minutes until 4:30 am when she finally passed out.  With hardly any sleep and this small cold, I took the day off to take care of us both.

I am at work this morning, but she is home and I will be heading home around 11:30.

I am thinking of Eileen and how hard things are for her right now.  Girl, you have my full support!

Janet----glad that you got drained and are feeling better.  Hope that is the end of it for you.

Tonight, Liv and I are scheduled to usher at the Pec Playhouse, I may have to recruit someone to take her place.  The boys have an overnight with the Scouts at the Rockford Ice Hogs and they won't be around.  I would just call and find replacements for both of us, but it is our first show and that would look pretty bad.  I'll figure it out.

Her cupcakes were such a hit that we need to make more for the neighbors.  We are going to try making homemade Red Velvet cupcakes tonight or tomorrow.
