Hello All,

I need some insight on Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, IL. If you had your surgery there, I would appreciate if you would tell me about your experience with the staff. Also are the rooms private or semi private?

Thank you advance for all of your responses.

I had my surgery November 11, at St. Margart Mercy in Dyer, IN. Dr. Cahill is my doctor and also my husbands doctor. My husband is the one going to Little Company of Mary on the 26th of Feb so this is why I'm inquiring.

If you don't mine tell me about your experience was your room private or semi private? What was the staff like?

The room was private.  The overall staff  were very good, a few of the nurses were really great.  The male nurses were not my cup of tea.  The hospital overall handled all of their business professionally.  The pre-op nurses were on top of everything.  Dr. Cahill, well you already have him and Tony so you know they are great. - and they were on top of everything.

I had mine there.  They are great!  Tony is great!....I like Dr. Cahill, but if you're looking for a doctor with good bed side manners, he's not your guy.  He is a GREAT doctor, but has no time for the "fluff", he's in and out.

My room was private.

I second what everyone else said. There are private rooms. But I didn't have any males nurses...but there was this one nurses assistant that left a lot to be desired. Overall my experience was a positive one. Cahill is interesting but candid and to the point. Tony is the ultimate in realism and pulls no punches. The staff new their jobs and did it!

I really like Tony he is a hoot! I enjoy that fact that he holds no punches. I really really am glad that my husband has had a chance to work with this office. He started off at Olympia Field but Dr. Chail has him having his surgery at Little Company of Mary, Donna is on top of everything and gets Central Scheduling at the hospital to get you scheduled quick. I will say Dr. Cahill is the man, when he said he's going to take care of it he does.
