Good Morning all you Sleepy Heads.
It is going to be a terrific day today. with highs in the 50s. We can't ask for a better day then that in Feb.
I am up early (for a Weekend), because I am heading for Yorkville to spend the day shopping with my 2 daughters and granddaughter. Just us girls today. I really think they are my best friends.
HEY, for those of you that don't know, we went to Cracker Barrel last night for dinner. You can order off the kids menu at any age. $4.99 or less for an entre and a side. Not a bad deal.

I have slept much, so excuse me if I don't make sense.
I don't have much going on today, but spending time with mom. She is dying. Going downhill very fast.
I gave her the okay yesterday. I told her we would all be okay, and we know she really wants to be with dad again, and we love her, and we will see her again in heaven.
I gotta go, can't type anymore.

I haven't been to Cracker Barrel in a long time. I may see a road trip in my future. I used to love it.
Anyway, I found out today I get to work all day on Valentines Day.
I was all worried about being a single guy and not having a date, but now I am not worried. I am taking the girls bowling team out to a big match. There is a bunch of schools there, and they all bowl. They take like 12 hours to do the match. By the end of the day the girls are so tired they are just throwing the ball and hoping it gets all the way down the lane.
Who else can brag about taking a whole bus load of girls out for Valentines Day? Haa!
I usually go out and find a Caribou coffee, or a Panera Bread to sit at and blow a couple hours with my laptop. Then go back and watch the last couple hours.
As a single guy I hate Spring. Everything looks so nice, Valentines Day, its nicer weather so I get to see everyone walking around. It really is my least favorite time of year.
Anyway, I am down about an inch on the waist in the last week or so. I can tell because my belt notch moved.
I am going out to my mom's house today in about 2 hours. She got a bunch of snow. (N.W. Indiana) SO I am going to see if I can get dad's tractor started and plow the driveway. Then take her out to lunch or something.
My twin brother is in that area too, so I may take him and his 25 kids out to lunch too. (Hope they like bread and water)
In case anyone didn't know..... I have a twin brother who is a missionary in Ukraine. He is in the area for about 6 months because his son was born with Cerebrial Palsey. (about 3 months ago) He is in with the Shriners getting physical therapy. My brother has 6 kids. They all speak 4 languages English, Russian, Ukrainian and Polish. Except the baby. (Well, I think I can hear him crying in Polish once in a while)
Anyway, I am going to take a shower and go to moms.

Dee, I'm so sorry that you are going through this time of your life. Make sure you have some photographic memories with mom, and if you have a video camera, shoot some scenes. I wish I had done that with my dad.

It is a beautiful day. I slept in and boy did it feel good not having to get up early.
Dee, I am so sorry about your mother. This is a really hard time to be in. I remember when I went through it with mine. They sometimes do need permission to go. Remember the good times and cherish them.
Hope everyone has a great day and enjoy the warm sunshine! I even have my front storm door cracked open a few inches for the fresh air. The cats and I are really enjoying that!

I just got back from a walk and bike ride with Madison. What a beautiful day! We are getting ready to clean Maddie's room. Then we are going to chill out till she has to get ready for the big daddy-daughter dance tonight. I found a beautifeul dress for her at JcPenny's on clearance for $15 and it was a $60 dress. I will post pictures later!
I need prayers from you guys....my Uncle Vernie had a massive stroke yesterday and it's real touch and go for the next 10 days. They say if he even survives this, that he will need assistant living for the rest of his life. Well, our family doesn't work like that. His assistant living will be family taking care of him. I just am so mad that this is happening to our family again. Who would have thought that at 32 years old that I would be giving my dad and uncle showers and wiping there ass? I guess you do what you have to do! Family is Family and we stick together!!! I love all of you guys like a family...thanks for being so great!!!
