Hows Elgin sound?

I was kinda plotting where most of the people on here live.

Wheeling, Streator, Rockford, Sycamore, N.Aurora, La Salle, Rock City, etc....

Elgin would be about 45 minutes to an hour from Rockford, about 45 from me, 20 from N. Aurora, half hour or so from Wheeling, I think Paul can walk there,  Rock City is about an hour and change straight down 90, Chicago is about 45-hour away, Lasalle is about the same as Rock City, but harder to get there. Evanston is pretty close too on 90.

The only ones who would have to drive are the people who live down state. (Sorry, we will try to come down next year.) 

Anyway, my sister works at a Chicago Pizza Authority  there in Elgin (Its owned by Rosati's) . She would like to meet all of you too. She is thinking of getting a lapband or something herself.

Anyone up for it?

They have a little salad bar there, plus a full menu. Its nothing special, but I am sure we could get a deal. Unless anyone prefers a different resturant?

I am just trying to motivate everyone for a get together.........

Dave I am in the Peoria area. Just came from Downers Grove from seeing my dear doc! I would have to see when this M&G was. I am 70 miles from LaSalle. So I will wait and see what the plan is and let ya know!

Not Valentines Day,

And on the 28th I have an exam to take. It is supposed to be like 5 hours long. So it won't work for me either. Unless it is a dinner. (I was thinking a lunch) I figure I should get out of there by 1PM or around there.

Plus the 21st is the day after my MD appointment. I will get a number of weight losed up to date. So I will be wanting to eat or celebrating.

First off, THANKS for taking this on!  The location works well for me.  I think that you may want to plan it out a little latter, like in March.  I'm fine with the 21st, but I've found that in the past, some folks need a little more time to plan.  But I may be wrong.  Keep me posted!

The get together sounds great.   I would prefer March.  My daughter is in the play High School Musical at our park district that weekend snd the next.  I live near Lucy so we may be able to go together.  Thanks for tking the reins on this.  It would be nice to meet everyone.

Sorry Ill have to skip this one!!!!!! I am flying to Denver on March 2nd for 8 days and the budget wont let me buy a plane ticket again till May.
But we are going to be snow Birds and Drive to Chicago for the summer. Hanging out in a 1 bedroom apartment with my kid and her boyfriend for 6 weeks!!!!!!! My husband and I. and 2 cats!!!!!! Should be fun!!!!!! No we wont be there all the time. but the cats will be.
So maybe a gettogether in the Summer?????????
