Question???

How long it the physiciatric evaluation and the other pre surgery stuff good for? August will be one year I have been at this and I just wondered if anyone knows if all that is still good or will i have to redo it all? Thanks for the input.

Erin, I have run into the same situation, and here is what my drs. office told me. The cardiac, pulmonary and medical clearances are only good for six months. I had the psych letter four months ago, so it's still good. They're not making me re-do the nutrition session or the Upper GI, but I'm having all the other lab work, again. This time around I'm having all the lab and xray's done down here with my PCP and carrying copies to the docs in Smyrna. I gather that in my surgeon's case, Emory Adventist Hospital has certain requirements that must be met. This experience has certainly taught me patience! Barb in S. GA
