So far so good.......
Ok I found the new doctor right? Called and found out I would have to start the process all over again. I would have to pay for a new Psychologist Eval and Nutrition Eval. My dad (who is a doctor) call and spoke to the doctor. He wanted to find out if he was comfortable with surgery since I do not want a blood transfussion. Well this doctor has been doing WLS for 25 years and does says that he respect my wishes and will use other methods in the event of an emergency since I will do other things that are not blood related. But that is not the issue.
Here is the good part...He told my father that he won't make me do all that other stuff over again which will speed up my process with him so that I it won't take so long. I have to go to one meeting and then I get to have my consult and then a few tests then everything goes off to the insurance company.
I have read a lot more about him and he is very well respected in Georgia. He trains doctors on WLS all over the east coast. My father really enjoyed talking with him and said that he felt alot better about my having a revision. I am really excited. My records are being sent to him and we should get started on August 6th.
