Honey I'm Home!!!!!!!
Hi Sandra, Congrats on your first appt. This is a very big step in changing a very important part of your life. I hope everything went well for you. I going to try to make it Saturday, even if it's only for a hour or so beacuse I really want to meet all these wonderful people on the GA board. This will be my first meeting and I'm really excited about and can't want to meet everyone.
Shon

Welcome home, Shon! I'm so glad things went well and you're feeling fine! I know what you mean about the gas--Ugh! It's painful!
Here was my trick for when gas got under my rib cage (my most painful place--and the exact spot it always wanted to go!). I actually got on all fours-and put my head down on a pillow with my hiney stuck up in the air. Sometimes I would have to rock back and forth in this position, but believe it or not, the gas sorta would roll out from under my rib cage each time I did that. My family laughed a lot at me--but I didn't care--it worked!
Best of luck!!
Michelle
Sorry for hijacking this post but had to ask Michelle how Anne is doing...I haven't heard from her in ages and I am just wanting to make sure things are going well for her. Thought about calling her but not knowing her schedule this summer I hate to interrupt anything. If you talk to her let her know that I just want to know that she is alive and well. Tell her if she gets a chance to let me hear from her.
Glad to see that you are doing better these days Michelle, you gave us all a scare for a while. We all know going into this surgery that there are risk but I think we all tend to think they will never happen to us or at least we all pray they won't happen. You really have determination is all I can say. Keep it up! We are all on the right road now.
