Interested in Dr. Paul Macik(sp?) performing my surgery-any advice about him?

Unfortunately, there have been a few times where I've been frustrated trying to get someone on the phone. It seemed like they would come in to the office around 10, leave for lunch around 11:30, be gone until 2, and then close up the office at 4. Keep in mind this was a few years ago. I know when Karen was there, she was also the "Insurance Guru" - the one who worked her magic to make sure that you were approved. So she spent the majority of her time on the phone trying to get the information where it needed to go. I could forgive her for that.

Dr. Macik did my Gastric By pass 2 years ago and I think he is amazing. He is a great surgeon but also a very caring person. I know he does lap bands because I have talked to other patients in his waiting room that had it done. I truly trust and respect him.
