Why is it that???

well i did get a lap band put on ...But i went to MExico and had it done due to no doc in GA would see me and my insurance would not cover a out of state doc ...There was a doc in FL that would change a RNY to a DS but i am not super gain on that but i was willign to see him if my insurance would ocver him ...Since they didn't i went to mexico and had no issues got the band put on Nov 3 and i have lost 16 pounds ...I am slightly behind in the weight loss but i think that is because of the holidays and all and a few glasses of wine here and there ...... I was JUST in Mexico! I could have had the revision AND vacationed all at once!LOL Seriously, how was your treatment and recovery in Mexico? How soon after surgery were you able to travel? There are 2 docs in Atl that will do revisions. I don't know if my insurance will cover it,but I'm going to find out. I don't think the wine really hurt your weight loss. It's the pumpkin pie, chocolate cream pie, stuffing, dirt pie, dang, I'm making myself hungry! Take care, Mike

Well the recovery in Mexico was WAY BETTER than i thought it would be ...I got there on Thursday night had surgery on Friday and was flying home on Sunday. Worked out good and was back to work on Monday. so no issues at all and to be honest the hospital and staff was better than ...Do i dare say ...Atlanta Medical ....There i said it and please no one bit my head off ...But it was a private hospital and they just are super clean and very attentive and i had a translator on call 24/7 so that was wonderful and she was a doll ...... Yah reading your post was making me hungry ....Stop i need to lose 20 more pounds by my wedding dang it ..I can alsmo get back into my old summer cloths LOL Laura PS let me know about the docs in ATl and if they can help you and all ...There is a band doc in Ohio that is good not sure of his price but he will band you also .....i can get more info for you if you like ......

No one should bite your head off for your opinion! If you got better treatment in Mexico then here,then you should say so. I'm going to make an appointment with one of the "revision" docs soon.
