Looking for support in Savannah

Hi there i am a mom who has had gastric bypass surgery and i am in savannah a few times a year to visit my son and his family. I am looking for a support group there in that area. If you know of one please let me know. Or even if someone who has surgery wants to hang out and talk. I am a mom and nana I am 49 years old and again spend lots of tume there, Melody

Memorial hospital has a meeting on the first Monday of each month at 6pm for post op only in the auditorium. They also have a meeting on the third Wednesday of each month for post op and pre op at the same location. A less formal support group that I post info for each month by email also meets each month on Friday at a local coffee shop near Montgomery Cross Roads at 7pm plus we rotate and meet at a member residence on a Wednesday each month at 7pm. YEAHHHHHHHHHH I live in savannah and had my surgery 4 years ago. this is the first I have heard of a support groups here. thank you and yes melody contact me any time. I am 52 and hanging out sounds great.........
