keep me in your thoughts

Ok guys ...I leave tomarrow for my big lapband surgery ...Yes you heard me right ....the only thing i can find to help me ( since i have to pay out of pocket and no doc in GA will see me) is a lap band ...and i am getting it done on Friday ....I am gettting excited .....You have no clue how bad i want to feel full again and to mabey be normal ......well normal for us and not be able to eat the house out ......i just pray that this will work for me and i will not need to get a DS since i dont want major surgery again But keep me in your thoughts and prayers for a smoth surgery and recovery ...... Laura

Laura: Hope you have a safe trip and come back with a working stomach. Maybe we will see you at the next event. I will not be able to attend the one in November, since that day is a red hat event for me. Your in my thoughts Mary

Laura-I musta been asleep! I didn't realize you were getting the band. Who and where did you get it? This is quick. I wish you the BESTEST of luck! You'll do great! I know what you mean by not feeling full! I'm in that boat too. My surgeon doesn't listen to me. He insists it's b/c of the training I do. I tell him my stoma at the bottom is probably the size of a half dollar!

Sherry This was a fast decision for me .....And i really did not tell anyone i was going to do it ...I have no restriction at all now so i needed something to just keep food in my stomach ...And this was the less surgical way to go ....so i am hopeing this will work and the doc seams to think it will ...and if not i have no clue what i will do ....So i am just hopeing this works ...But i am scard casuse i now have a 1/2 ounce pouch insted of 1 ounce ...So i hope i can keep food down Laura

You are in my thoughts....curious why you took this route...I have not lost all my weight and some days I feel like I can eat so much and other days...no way.....have not gained but want to kick start this tool again.... Love and Success, Ann

yes we need to keep in touch ..i am not sure about this but my doc said liquids for two weeks ...there is no way i am going to make that one LOL there is alot more to this than i think i was thinking there was going to be Laura
