Dr. Duncan in Atlanta?
I used Dr. Duncan's office and one of his partner's did my surgery (Hobson) I don't recommend using any one else in the office. I can't find anyone to repair my surgery and insurance stopped covering it. I lost weight for two months and now I have to pay. More than seven thousand dollars to repair this. They don't care.
I LOVE eveyone in Dr Duncan's Office. Yesterday was my 1yr annivesary I have lost 129 pounds. Hobson did my surgery. I did have complications about 2 weeks out. A fistuala which was not fault of anyone more so my body trying to naturally repair itself. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks during Thanksgiving. Not only did I see Dr Hobson but Dr Rashid & Dr Duncan were very much around as well as other associates. They set me up with the best specialist Dr. Layne for my complications. I was in Atlanta Medical Center the whole time. I have to say for a bad situation I never once doubted my doctors. I am now 1yr out and healthier then ever and will praise this group of doctors forever. Its all case by case in my opinion.

Hi Tracy, Dr. Burrowes was my surgeon and he is very passionate about his work, so you would be in good hands.
I've heard a lot of good things about Dr. Duncan and have several friends that have used both surgeons.
Just be sure you're comfortable with whomever you choose.

Thanks for the information. I believe I am going to go with Burrowes. I've heard nothing but good about him. But, with Duncan I've heard some pretty bad stuff. Which has scared me off to using him. A friend of mine used Dr. Daly and she said he was really good. I've just not found that many people who have used him. I wish more people would rate their surgeons so that pre-ops like me would be able to get some good information about them. You have done great with losing as much weight as you have. I just can't wait to be minus 100 pounds or so.
