I really do not understand why Doctors can really be so mean. I had my Gallbladder surgery scheduled for 10/20/06 am, and the doctor said that I was on someone else's books for the surgery and I wasn't. So the two doctors, are battleing with each other. So now my PCP is going we are going to take another route, she is going to have me amitted. She say's that I really need to have this done ASAP. Keep me in your prayers!

Sounds like you at least have a good Primary Care doctor on your side though Kia

Yes! she is the best in Atlanta! I have a good surgon but he is in Alabama and my insurance will not cover the operation there because I'm out of the network. But I will find someone that is good or just go to the (ER). I read your profile and it was really inspiring, you have done so well! Congrat's on the baby, I know that you and your husband are really happy. Dorothy

Most of the time, its not that the doctor's are mean, its their billing staff. Sounds to me like someone either in the doctor's billing staff, or your insurance has messed up about which doctor should do the surgery. I'd call both your insurance (make sure you write down names of who you talk to) company and your doctor's billing staff to see who/where the mix up occurred.
