Has anyone had an issue with United Healthcare Choice Plus?

Hi Everyone, Its been a little over 2 years since I had my gastric bypass. At the time I had it, United Health Care Choice Plus paid for it. I still have them for insurance, however- someone told me they no longer pay for Bariatric surgery as they consider it cosmetic? I am in the process of testing for a revision to a DS- in addition, my husband just completed his process for the GB procedure. Since I have been out of the loop I am not sure if anyone else who has them is encountering problems with non coverage? Can anyone out there with United Health Care Choice Plus advise? I have a division of UHC (Definity Health) now and they only pay for 1 per lifetime. When I had UHC choice plus there was an exclusion on the policy. Last I heard they were not covering WLS anymore. Need to call the insurance company and see what they say. They will be able to tell you if you have an exclusion or not.
