Lap DS and Lap RNY Videos at 9/21 Support Mtg

Just thought I'd share the following information: Dr Dennis C. Smith in Marietta has a support group that meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30pm. It's open to pre-ops and post-ops from any surgeon. Next week, they are showing videos of the lap DS and lap RNY. While I wouldn't normally advertise other people's events, I thought some pre-ops might be interested. I saw the videos at his informational meeting back in March and am going back to watch them again. The support group meets at the Windy Hill Exchange Building in Marietta. It's located off of Windy Hill just south (west?) of I-75. Head north (or would that be east? [I hate Atlanta!] near the hospital on the right, turn left onto South Park Drive (Bank of America and Chick-Fil-A are at that corner). It is then your first left. Of course from I-75, you would go the opposite direction on Windy Hill and take a right onto South Park Drive. Sorry, I don't have an actual address to give you, just these wierd directions! Sue

I think there are usually about 100 or so people that come. Many are pre-ops looking for info and many are post-ops from various surgeons. There are a few folks that are at goal and they come for support and to give support and inspiration to the rest of us! If you're going to the luncheon tomorrow, perhaps we can chat. Sue
