QUESTIONS ?

I am interested to know how many of you have had post op complications ? like readmissions, fistulas, infeciton, or if you had gastric sleeve any problems with the gastric staple line ? thanks for all info sjw

I had a big leak which my surgeon actually called a blow out of the staple line. When I woke up from my surgery I felt ok and then later that day I was in severe pain. First thing the next morning they did an upper GI and saw that my staple line had blown out somehow so I was rushed back into surgery to get it fixed. I had a small infection from the leak but only had to stay in the hospital one extra day than planned. Even with this complication I would do this surgery again.
