Dr. Hart, anyone??

Hello, I would love to hear from any of you who may have used Dr. Hart for your surgery. What did you think of him and well as his office staff? Thanks in advance, AC

I used Dr. Hart for my surgery and can not sing his praises loud enough. I found Dr. Hart to be very competent in this field of surgery. After my first meeting with him I was completely at ease. He was very knowledgeable when it came to all my questions. His office staff went above and beyond the call of duty to get all my paperwork expedited quickly.I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience, they handled everything for me. All I had to do was show up for the appointments. I hope that whomever you choose to use that you are as happy and comfortable with them as I am with Dr. Hart and his staff. I am a firm believer that trust plays a big part with your attitude and recovery. I am a 15 months out now and have not had any problems at all. Best wishes to you with whoever you choose to use. I used Dr. Hart also... He was excellent, and his staff were very helpful. The only one I have an issue with is the nutritionist... had to pay her $50 each visit, and the visits were about 2 minutes long, and I usually left more confused than when I went in... even with her notes scribbled on a piece of paper... totally illegible. .... but the others were great!

I had lap rny surgery with Dr Hart in 12/03, my sister had lap rny surgery with Dr Hart in 06/06, and my niece has just had lap band surgery 2 weeks ago with Dr Hart. We also have a cousin considering lap band surgery with Dr Hart. He is an extremely talented surgeon with few surgical complications and one death. The death occurred a month or so after the wls and was due to a prior heart condition ( I wouldn't consider it as wls related but he does). His monthly support group meeting is this coming Wednesday, Sept 6 at the Atlanta Bariatric Conference Center (just across from Emory Dunwoody Hospital). It lasts from 6-8 and is open to anyone. Pre ops, post ops, considering surgery, support people, family members, friends, other surgeon patients. It is a great way to learn more about the sugreon and the practice and to talk with others who have been or are going through the process. Hope to see you ( and anyone else reading this) there! Hi, I had my surgery with Dr. Har Nov 04. I was very happy with him and continue to see him for follow up. I have had no complications related to the surgery and surpassed my goal weight. Dr. Hart also removed my gallbladder in July. No problems with that surgery either...I had the gallbladder surgery on a Thursday and was back at work on Tuesday.
