Ever Feel like Doc are crazy ????

Ok so i went back to the Doc today ....Well they are going to scop me to see what they can see ...Ok cool ...and then they are going to put me on a waiting list for some spider procuder that Dr Duncan is going to do sometime in the NEXT YEAR >>>WTH is that about ...i year i have to wait a frickin year ....Ok well at least this is a non surgical thing so i can deal ....Ok that is the good news Here is were i think i want to kill someone ...So the doc comes in and basically told me that in total all i lost was 45 pounds ( is this normal to anyone on here?) and that everything was my fault and i am not eating right at all ...That there are 4 things i should eat ...Fruit,vegis,meat, and grain....That is it nothing else and all the diet pop i want ...HELLO ...sound right to anyone else ...No Cheese at all never ..I always thought alittle was ok ....but i could be wronge ...So she said that my test showed rapid flow from the pouch to the inten. and that is normal with liquid ( why do it then if this is the result you are going to get? ) and that it is all in my head and she did not feel naything was wronge ( but we are still going do a scoop and put me on the list) how frustrating is this ...Or is it just me ...She totally conterdicted herslef thru the whole conversation ....UGHHHHHHHH anyone go thru with with Duncans ? Well, you have access to her for a year after your surgery date. So, you might not be able to just go take to her, you may have to pay. I can get her number when I go home tonight. Her services are included for a year when you attend the Nutrition counseling and pay the $100.00. I am doing much better. It was probably just some muscle strain or something.....I have lost 34 lbs so far. Kim

Laura, I kinda got this when I started having problems. They did a gallbladder test on me and said it was fine and never further investigated it at all. That's when I went to my PCP and was reffered out to Dr. Grybowski ( a stomach Dr.) but they still can't find the problem, but he's still trying, unlike Duncans office. Hi Laura, Ok... here is the deal with Dr. Duncan's office, as I see it. They will probably want to kill me for posting this, but it is true. When I first had my blockage, I went in and they did a barium swallow and were like, "oh, we don't see anything. Give it some time and everything will be okay." THAT IS NOT OKAY!!!! You live with your body everyday and you know when something is wrong. I sat down in the office and I explained to them that I have done what they told me when they told me and that I KNOW my body. Something was WRONG and I wasn't going to keep just going home, until someone could give me some idea what was going on. Well, it took all day, but they eventually scheduled me for a scope the next morning. Turns out a suture was blocking my opening. However, in trying to fix that, I think they might have stretched my opening. I have to go back and be re-scoped in a month or so. But what I am saying, is they are REALLY busy. They will put you off if you let them. I know that Hazel Foster is not around here much anymore, but the one thing she taught me is you HAVE TO BE YOUR OWN BEST ADVOCATE. Hey there Thanks for the good words ...Always nice to know your not crazy ...And Duncans office has a habbit of making you second guess yourself ...( they did with my mom too) but i am in luck ...I called and got my egd scheduled well almost they are refering me to someone else i think since Duncans is out of the country and i got a referal sent over to them and i call on monday to set it up ...I am dying to know what they will say about it .... But your right i think we know better than anyone when something is not right ...Hello if my pouch is still the size of a golf ball there is no way i shoudl be able to eat a big mac ......Do you not agree ?? LOL LOL i mean i know something is not right down there LOL Laura
