I am not giving up

Ok I have sent my paper work in and as of Friday I have been denied. I talked to HR head and I was told the insurence is trying to get me to go away. I just want to let everyone know that I WILL be having this surgery. I don't know how, and I don't know when, but I am determind to improve my health. My appeal letter was also sent today. Dr. Burrowes Office and Staff are the best. And ask for me I am very glad I picked this office. Thanks for your time Dawn

Dawn, If you believe, then don't give up. My husband fought his insurance company for over a year and finally wore them down LOL...and they approved him. His insurance company even had a WLS exclusion and he won after two denials and appeals. Don't loose faith! Hugs, Tonya

Thanks for your time, I really do believe this is my time and there ain't a devil in hell who's going to take this from me. Sorry; I'm just tired of being told that I'll be fat and unhealthy for the rest of my life. Dawn

Don't give up.. I had my surgery with Dr. Burrowes 3 years ago, and I love it!! His staff is awesome, they'll fight for you.

What ever you do, don't give up! I have actively been trying to have this surgery since 2003! I fought and fought my last insurance company, I appealed and appealed some more. I appealed until I ran out of appeals. I didn't give up. I looked for another job, with better insurance. Since August of last year, I have been striving to have this done. I was denied again, but by then - I was a pro at appealing Now, I am approved and having surgery this week! You know the saying, 'What God has for me, it is for me"? Have faith. God is always a right on time God. Sure, I would have liked to have surgery back in 2002. But, maybe I wasn't ready. A lot of times He has reasons that we don't know. God does things when the time is right, He is never early or late, but always on His perfect schedule. So, keep the faith, and don't stop fighting.
