Learning Experiences

Well this past week has been chuck full of learning experiences, I was told by the Nurse to experiment with soft foods, see how I accept them, and to each 3-5 times a day, work my self up to the recommended protein levels. Well, ok first off I wanted to tell you I have been on the soup diet, and most soups are somehow made primarily of potatoes and beans... so... I now avoid those, because for me, the potatoes are hard to digest and the beans are giving me way too much gas. It was to the point I was so gassed up, that I couldnât drink water without feeling nauseous. So, I avoid beans at all costs now, now I do like Chili beans and they seem "ok" but it maybe because the chili I had is not crammed full of beans. Another learning experience is, I took the break from "house responsibilities" when I came home from the hospital, and now the water got shut off, because nobody choose to pick up where I left off... oh well. So, now I have a weekend of no water... back to sponge baths for me, ANY ONE WANNA HELP!? ;) I have been pretty up beat, I have had a couple of photo-shoots, and while I am not back on top of my creative game, I think I am getting there. I discovered a new model, named Danielle and I am really inspired by her enthusiasm, she really wants to make it. While she is not tall enough for run-way work, I think she can make it in Catalog or Swimwear. I got me a diet "pizza" today, and tried it... its funny to think, how "SMALL" they are, but now to me they are HUGE... haha. I was able to eat and tolerate, 2 slices, ... now imaging taking that small pizza which is about 6 inch across and slice it into 6 slices...2 got me filled the rest is now in the fridge for another day! My routine today, was a shake in the morning, veggie soup for lunch, for a snack I had some tuna with a wheat cracker x2 then for dinner I had 2 slice o pizzas, then about an hour later on I had some more of that veggie soup. Of course B12, Calcium, Multi-Vitamins in the morning... I am now down to 328, so -70 lbs gone for ever (I hope) and I am going to start stepping up my workouts, I want to get to two miles of walking, and 50 lbs for my arm weights. I do 6 sets of 15 with 10lbs weights now.. I know I could go up to 25... but right now I have been splitting my sets up, one in the morning one at night. I don't just want to look thinner, but I want people to say...oh wow... you look good! Miles

Well honey, you ALREADY LOOK GOOD! LOL! Do keep up with the exercise. It's the ONE HUGE regret that I have, that I did not exercise early on...and I didn't get to goal as a result. Now, I'm working out like a dog... pant pant pant.... but it won't slide off like it would have if I had done what I wuz suppose to!! About that sponge bath..... Whoops!! Joe is calling me!! Gotta run! !HEE HEE!! Take care and keep up the good work!! Tami

No I am married, but I can sure use the friends. I am still "new" to georgia and really have not met a lot of people, I have thought about going to the Henry county support group. I really do like the personalities here, and would love to reach out and meet some. You look great btw Rachel, and I am sure you won't be single for long, if you need a friend please let me know, we can never have enough. Miles
