Hey!
I just made sure I had at least my clear liquids and some full liquids ready for me to go. I had already bought everything that I needed ahead of time. I actually felt up to going to the grocery store the Saturday after my surgery, of course husband carried all the stuff in.
I had my mom and husband with me, but at about 8:30p or so, I told them that I really didn't need for them to stay with me. They had a hotel about 5 blocks away. Truthfully, after they had left, it would have been nice to have someone to help me with the IV's and stuff so I could walk around.
The day nurses are great, the night ones were a little to be desired. Eunice was great! She was my night nurse.
Thanks!! It has been a learning experience and as of right now, 2 weeks out...I have lost 28 lbs and I started working out at the gym today. Walked 1 mile on the treadmill and worked on my arms and legs a little. Didn't do much, don't want to push myself.
