Hi all....I sit here waiting for Dr. Duncans office to call me for my appts after approval....and as soon as I got it late Friday, I started protein only...is that smart? Should I continue to eat normal until he tells me not to, or when I see them if I have already been on all liquids would that help speed up the surgery date?!?! I am so ready....Im scared someone is going to rip this approval away from me!

Hi Pam The most nerve wracking part of all of this is the waiting.... Just do what the Doc tells ya, and eat "normally" until he puts you on a liquid diet... it wont speed anything up by starting now.... sorry ... They have their program, and they stick to it. Hang in there... it'll happen!!

It could be weeks before you get a surgery date due to number of patients so I wouldn't stay on a liquid diet that long. Also like perviously stated Dr. Duncan doesn't require liquids just the cleansing. Which was horrible enough. Don't worry about loosing weight before surgery... you'll loose plenty afterwards just stay as healthy as you can. Take all your viatamins and look forward to the new you. Laura 280/179/165
