Help???

Does anyone here have Amerigroup insurance? If so, was your surgery approved? Thanks, Jenn

Jenn, First off, no I don't have Amerigroup. But if I did my answer probably would not have helped you. Insurance companies have so many plans, and employers can add ro subtract from each type of plan, that even if I had Amerigroup, and they approved my surgery, that doesn't mean they would approve yours. At the same time, if they didn't approve my surgery, they may approve yours. You are better off talking to your plan administrator, or the insurance company itself to see if your particular plan covers WLS, and what is required to get it approved. I know this is n the answer you were looking for, but talkin gto someone about your plan in particluar, can save you a lot of needless heartache and worry. Good luck, Steve
