The Waiting Game

So now, my waiting game has begun. My insurance company received my predetermination letter on Friday, and it was sent to Medical Review today. They said it could take up to 30 days to be approved, but lets hope that we hear something by Thursday morning! I have a "reconsultation" w/ Dr. Jawad on Thursday, so it would be really cool to tell him I've been approved! Every one say a prayer for me, I'm horrible at waiting.

I know how you feel I am playing the waiting game now too. I had my doctor turn my paperwork in, today is 3 weeks and I haven't heard anything. I am getting really nervous because they said it would be about 3 weeks. I will pray for you and will you please pray for me.

I called them last week and they told me to wait 3 weeks after the paperwork was submitted and today would be 3 weeks. I figured I will call them Friday if I haven't heard anything.

Amy~ I am 22 y.o. and I had my surgery done with Dr. Jawad 1/3/05, you are in great hands I am down 160 and just 20 from my goal. You can do it never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would have been here just a year ago. Just wanted to drop a line by you, and let u know that if you need to talk I am here.
