Insurance usually denies tummy tucks as being cosmetic only. It takes a lot to get them approved and you have to have EXTENSIVE documentation on the medical necessity of the surgery before they will consider it, including doctor visits, photographic evidence of rashes, etc. Good luck, but many surgeons won't even accept insurance because the procedure is covered so infrequently.
