HI ALL!!!!

Hi everyone, sorry it has been so long since I posted...my computer has been down and the second computer in my house went down 2 days later......its been miserable......well we finally have one going thank goodness...the withdrawals were horrible......anyhow...had my 6 week checkup yesterday on Monday and I am - 65 lbs......dr is very very pleased with me and told me to keep up whatever it is I am doing cause it is working...I have to work on getting a little more protein in everyday but otherwise everything is going well...I tolerate everything I have tried to eat...am finally starting to feel a little more human...didn't think I was ever gonna get some energy back but it is slowly coming back....hope everyone is doing well and have missed reading all the posts but am back for now....Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone!!! April, I'm so glad you're feeling better!! I have a strange sense of humor (fair warning) so when I read your post I smiled when you wrote that your doctor said you should keep doing whatever you're doing because it's working. My sense of humor came into play and I thought you should have told him "Well, Doctor, I had gastric bypass!!" Maybe you had to be there, but it was funny at the time!!! April, congratulations on dropping 65 pounds. You have a great surgeon with a great support system, use it all. The resources are there if you need them, Chris, Julie, the support groups, DR. Haicken's board, and this one. Good luck on your journey, and keep up the great job you have been doing so far. Steve
