SallyKate Update

I thought I would post a quick update about SallyKate. She went to the hospital yesterday morning. They inserted a picc line and did a number of tests. Her blood tests came back "shady" (you'll have to ask her what that means), but they decided to go ahead and send her home anyway. They are going to send a home health nurse to her house to give her IV fluids for the next 3 weeks. She doesn't regret having the surgery, yet. She probably just hasn't updated yet because she isn't feeling so great, but remember it's been awhile since she's had any food or fluids in her. I'm sure she'll pop in once she's feeling better. I'm going over to her house tonight so I'll be seeing her in person and will let you all know more if she doesn't herself . Please keep her in your prayers! HUGS Kim

Thanks, Kim. I was hoping there would be some word when I got to the msg board this morning. I'm glad to hear she will be getting IV fluids for a while; that will help compensate for the fact that she is unable to keep much down at this time....And the best part is she gets to be at home! She remains in my thoughts and prayers. Betti
