Leesburg and surrounding area people

Is anyone interested in getting together for a little area support group. I am willing to take this on and get it started. I have surgery on Dec 7, but would love setting up a group like this. Lap or RYN. Please email and I can get an idea of everyone's location to try to pick a spot that would be convenient to all. No eating and no money involved (lol). Hope to hear from all of you. My wife and I had gastric bypass... Bonnie had hers in july of 2003 and I had mine in nov 2004. Bonnie has lost 118 pounds and I have lost 100. We would be interested in a support group in Leesburg... Dr Jawad has a group that meets the last thursday of every month in Ocala..

Carol, I can understand that you'd want to start a group for Leesburg, because it is a bit far to drive to Ocala, but there are some dandy lap banders that drive all the way from Orlando to the support group in Ocala each month, and Bonnie and Jerry also drive from Leesburg each month. We would be so pleased to have you come say hello the last Thursday of the month at the West Marion Medical Building, adjacent to the hospital, on the second floor at 6:30 p.m. Sylvia and other staff members are always there, frequently there is a guest speaker and the topics are always on point, but there's also lots of chances to bring up anything you might want to have discussed.
