Any Leesburg folks?

Hi, I'm Lisa- new to the board. My husband and I moved to Leesburg from NJ last year. We are both having RNY with Dr. Overcash in Ocala. Met with him just today and we both really like him, and the office staff. I've been aware of this website since 1999, when I had my first consult in NYC that I chickened out of. No more of that, this time I am ready. I am 35 and want to have our first child as soon as I am healthy.... Anyway I could go on and on here. Welcome to the board. There are a lot of people in the Orlando area that come here and have meetings. to get to know each other. I am sure you will hear from them.

Hi Lisa and hubby. I live in Leesburg also. Dr. Jawad is my surgeon and I am having the RNY on December 7. I am so excited and this board is a great help. Thanks for the welcome, Martha, Amy, Carol! I get so much info from this board. Nice to see another of Dr. O's patients, and doing so well too! Read your story Amy and now I know about the rocking chair.....not sure what to expect from the hospital staff but my sister and husband will be there and due to my insurance, looks like I have to have 6 months documented 'physician' supervised weight loss program. Blah. I will do it and maybe surprise myself and actually lose something besides my sanity? (ha) I had no idea I got as HULK-sized as I yam.... Carol, I am so happy for you. Let me know if you need a 'neighbor' to help you out at any point-I don't usually work weekends! Would love to get together. We live off 44/Dixie Ave, and just love Leesburg (but there's not enough shopping to keep me happy!) My inlaws are in Clermont and my office is right there off Rt.27 just past the entrance to the Turnpike....... I'm gonna email you. ~Lisa
