I have gained 10 pounds and don't know how. I had a total hip replacement in June and am doing great except I have gained and not lost. I am considering going back to 2 protien drinks a day and only one small meal of chikhen or fish and a small portion of dark green veggie. Do you think that will help a little bit? I am walking more and doing more exercise but it just won't budge and I am really depressed about this. I just feel like such a loser and not in a good way. Thaks to all Karen in Seminole

Karen, How are your water & protein intakes? Also, are you on (or been on) new/different meds b/c of your hip surgery? Meds can cause fluid retention and/or appetite changes. And of course, if your liquid & protein intakes aren't where they should be, your weight loss may stall. I'd say give your wl surgeon a call & ask for suggestions to get your weight loss moving again. Good luck! Vickie J.
