Hi all I am still trying to find out how April is doing. I talked to her boyfriend earlier this afternoon and he said she was still in surgery....and as nervous as he sounded please keep him and April in your thoughts and prayers. I just tried to contact him again and I am not getting no answer on his cell phone or home...or her friend Jamie. As soon as I get some info I will let you all know. I am like some of you all though...I have no idea what her last name is --So I jsut can't call the hospital and ask for AprilinFL LOL. Becky

Hi Becky, If they are in the hospital the cells might not be ringing through. Anxiously awaitng news here as well.

Actually Ginny I jsut got off the phone with him. {Something told me to try one more time. He just arrived at the hospital. April is out of surgery but he can't see her yet. All sounds good so far. He will call me when he knows more...so when I find out more I will post! YEAHHHHHH APRIL IS A LOSER! Becky

I don't know April personally but have kept up with her excitement for weeks . I did call the hospital and said I have no last name but gave the name of the Dr. and the first name of patient. A lady named phyllis told me to hang on after the 8th call, and said she is in a recovery room. When asked how she was doing, the lady told me she was doing "fine", so I said ok so she is ok then and she said yes. She really did try to find her or at least who I was calling about and kept connecting me to the WLS extention with an answering machine. Finally she got the information. So from Phyllis at MPH, April is in recovery room doing fine. WOOT go April!

What time was her surgery actually started Becky?

Brenda, I'm not sure what time her surgery was scheduled, but she had to be at the hospital at 6:30 am so her surgery was probably scheduled for the AM, but you know how things can get backed up in the OR. Vickie J.

Hi all this is her friend Jamie, Just letting ya'll know she made it through surgery finally about 5:00 P.m. she is very sore and as of today she is in ICU and is doing as good as expected. she is very sore but has the famous button for the pain. I will let ya'll know as I do what is going on...Please just keep up the prayers and put some warm wishes for her to read when she does come home...Thank You..: )

april is out of surgery, her stiches ripped and allowed bile in to her stomach and now they have sewed that up we need to just wait to make sure they can remove the bile without her getting an infection. Before surgery she was crying and asking for her mom and then talking to her to which ya'll who do not know her passed away 3 years ago so to hear this was very disturbing to us all. PLEASE keep her in your prayers tonight for this will be a very long one for us all...Thank You Jamie P>S> I will fill you in as we hear .

Hi it's me again April had to back to surgery tonight she had a pain that wanted to do exploritory surgery to see why she went at a little after 7 tonight no word yet and it's 9 now waiting on a call..will let ya'll know as soon as i do...Jamie
